Sema changed my life!

in the us ozempic for diabetes only goes up to 2 a week, but wegovy — same drug for weight loss — just got cleared for 7.2 a week. ozempic caps out at 2 because it was never for weight loss, blood sugar doesn't need more. but if dropping weight is the goal you can go way further than 1.5.
 
Been on this med 14 months, down 39 lbs. Curious if anyone's noticed vision stuff after starting—blurry vision, dark spots, floaters, sudden changes in one eye. Not assuming anything, just wondering if it's a thing and what doctors have said about it.
 
Doing your own food shopping and cooking at 16 to manage your weight while getting grief from everyone around you is genuinely tough. The effort you put in back then without any of the tools that exist now makes what you've accomplished even more meaningful.
 
The sema not working and the switch producing real results is the pattern that shows up often enough to be meaningful. The OP's lifetime struggle before sema finally landing is a different version of the same story. How much total and how long did it take after you made the switch?
 
Horrible metabolism and a sweet tooth as the baseline and not gaining a pound in a year on sema is the maintenance win that shows the medication doing what it's designed to do. The OP at 210 to 150 is the loss side of the same story. How long have you been on sema and have you stayed at the same dose or adjusted?
