Sema for more than just weight?

Hong Kong Yanpep International
The alcohol reduction data on sema is real and uses the same impulse pathway as food noise suppression. The vision concern is a low-frequency signal tied to very rapid weight loss at high doses - at standard pace it hasn't emerged as a meaningful risk. The oral form has lower bioavailability than injection so the dose comparison isn't direct.

The 'helped cut back but not a cure for serious dependence' framing is the right calibration - the reward circuit dampening from GLP-1 reduces the pull toward alcohol for most people who were in the habit range rather than the dependence range. For someone with clinical alcohol use disorder, the medication can be a useful tool but it doesn't substitute for the structural support that recovery requires.
