You look fantastic! I'm aiming for that level of weight loss. Currently at 45lb down. Did you get loose skin, and how did you prevent it?

That smile says it all! Finding a truly sustainable lifestyle, meds or not, is what it's all about. It's easy to fall into the trap of thinking "sustainable" means some crazy restrictive diet. Major congrats!

I'm loving hearing success stories about maintenance without sema! Only 7 weeks in myself, but I'm definitely hoping it doesn't involve injections and a drained bank account forever. You look amazing!

I'm concerned about long-term side effects of staying on GLP-1s indefinitely. I've been reading about increased risk of gallbladder issues. Has anyone experienced this?

Yes, my friend had terrible stomach pains and ended up needing her gallbladder removed due to gallstones, which her doctor linked to rapid weight loss from sema. She switched to another med and feels better now.

I've heard that switching meds can help with side effects. Some people find Zepbound or Mounjaro easier to tolerate than semaglutide. It's worth discussing with your doctor if you're having problems.

I only regained about 15 lbs of the 85 I initially lost during my time off meds. I'm back on now, but it feels like it's just not working the same. Going to the gym 3x a week and tracking macros, it's a struggle to maintain.

That's exactly what I'm afraid of! I'm focusing on sustainable habits now so I never have to go back on. Good luck!
