Gradual fiber increase matters twice on sema - slowed gastric transit exaggerates the bloating response, so what works normally is still too fast. Soluble over insoluble and a 3-4 week ramp is the safer path.

Constipation during a prolonged stressful period plus GLP-1 gastric slowing is a compounding effect - stress independently suppresses GI motility and the medication adds more slowdown on top. The Senna resolution is consistent with what a lot of people find; it's the strongest over-the-counter option for the GLP-1-specific constipation pattern.

the miralax plus magnesium citrate combination is the escalation step for when fiber and simple osmotic approaches aren't moving things - the citrate solution works faster and more aggressively than miralax alone and the electrolyte replacement in pedialyte matters because severe GI clearance pulls electrolytes too. it's the protocol people land on after everything else has failed to clear a real slowdown

Started back in November and it just hasn't let up. Taking a laxative twice a week now. Fiber and magnesium haven't made a dent for me.

Currently on sema, nothing major side effect wise so far, just some constipation. Might consider tirz eventually.

Sema might've been masking whatever gut issues were going on since it slows down digestion. Would definitely recommend seeing a GI specialist to rule out something else happening underneath.

Had brutal constipation early on, now I make sure to hit 30 grams of fiber daily plus MiraLAX and Benefiber, completely fixed it. Thankfully that's been my only side effect.
