Sema success, but lipids high?

I just finished the 3 month course my doctor prescribed. When I began, I weighed 214 pounds, and now I'm at 177. My recent blood work came back looking pretty good - all normal or high-normal except for my lipid panel. It's got me a little worried because all my lipid numbers were elevated. What do you all think? Any insight would be great.

That's fantastic progress! It sounds like you're doing great. About the lipids, maybe try shifting your diet to less fat and more complex carbs?

Awesome work! Those numbers are just numbers. The real win is being able to do things you couldn't before. Bending over to pick something up, or doing something fun with friends without getting tired are all victories!!!

I saw some interesting info about GLP-1s and testosterone levels in men... something to keep in mind. Apparently, they're even looking at combining GLP-1s with TRT in some cases! I wonder if Wait-And-See is male or female?

I wanted to add to Donut's point. Some studies show that GLP-1 meds can actually improve testosterone levels. So, for men, it could be a double win - weight loss and better hormone balance. Something to discuss with your doctor, of course!

That's so interesting about the testosterone! My partner's been considering something for low T for ages. Maybe this would be a good conversation starter for him and the doctor.
