Sema vs. PMS Appetite Battle!

Just moved up to 0.25mg, and while I'm eating less, that food chatter is still there! Just wanted to share a little chuckle.

Hey there! Just a friendly reminder of the rules. Keep the discussions focused on FDA-approved semaglutide formulations. No selling or solicitation, please. If you're new, check out the FAQ. Happy chatting!

I've talked to my doctor a bunch about my period overpowering the sema. She sees it in other patients too. Apparently hormones usually win. I'm trying to prep healthier versions of what I'm craving to try and stay on track.

Oh my gosh, I thought I was alone! I have ADHD and it feels like my meds just quit working a couple days each month when my appetite goes nuts and everything I usually enjoy becomes boring. It's the worst. Even on semaglutide, it's still a struggle.

My IBS is basically gone! What a relief.
Wow, that's amazing! I'm hoping for some similar side benefits. Mainly focusing on weight loss, but that would be icing on the cake.

I'm still on a low dose after all these months, but I'm losing weight too quickly. My doctor said to stretch out the injections to every 9 days. Anyone else ever had to do that?

That's wild! I've heard of people not getting enough effect on the starting dose, but not the other way around. Bodies are so different!

Don't do what I did—a huge bowl of pasta. My digestion slowed so much I had heartburn for days. Switched to whole foods and clean eating, plus tons of water and fiber when I can. That's when the heartburn finally backed off.
