Semaglutide ETA stress!

Hoping my first dose arrives today! I really want to start it on a Friday evening. The tracking says it's coming from a distribution center in KY and should be here in Seattle by this afternoon... that feels ambitious! Is it even plausible? Keeping my fingers crossed.

Thanks Seattle_Sleeper! Glad I'm not the only one obsessing over the tracking! I'm just so eager to get started. I've struggled with my weight for years and I'm really hoping this helps me get to a healthier place.

It's important to remember that while semaglutide can be a powerful tool, it's not a magic bullet. It works best when combined with lifestyle changes like diet and exercise. Don't rely solely on the medication; focus on building healthy habits too.

Totally agree, Frankie. I feel the same way when I hear people talking about how hard it is to lose weight. It's like, I want to tell them, but there's so much negativity around these meds. This is the closest thing to a magic pill I've ever found, and it's helped me get to a healthy weight for the first time. I'm not going to lie, it's changed my life.

Just got the notification, it's been delayed until tomorrow! Ugh, so frustrating. Looks like my Friday night plans are foiled. Oh well, one more day of waiting won't kill me.

Anyone else here use cannabis? I've noticed that sometimes it seems to negate the effects of the semaglutide, especially the feeling of fullness. Just curious if anyone else has experienced this.

For me, the munchies definitely win! And it seems to take longer for edibles to kick in now. You ever tried tincture? That works instantly and doesn't give me the munchies.

It's interesting to hear about the cannabis interactions. Keep in mind that GLP-1s slow down gastric emptying, which could affect how quickly other substances are absorbed. Always consult with your doctor about potential interactions with other medications or substances you're taking.

Good point! I'll definitely ask my doctor about that at my next appointment.
