Semaglutide online scripts?

Hey everyone, I'm trying to get serious about losing weight, and I'm feeling a little overwhelmed. I don't currently have a PCP, and the idea of finding one and going in for appointments is daunting. Has anyone had success getting prescriptions online? Do you recommend any specific doctors or services that do remote consults for this type of thing?

Hello the community community!

Just a quick reminder of our rules. Please refrain from discussing or sourcing non-FDA approved versions of semaglutide. Offering to buy or sell any medications is also prohibited, including via private messaging. Be cautious of unsolicited private messages offering such services - they are not endorsed by this forum.

If you're new to semaglutide, our FAQ might be helpful. This is meant to be informative and doesn't discourage discussion.

Addressing the original query, the answer is yes, virtual prescriptions for this are common now. Millions are doing it.

My own doctor was willing to give me a script, but the prices, even with insurance help, were way too high. Right now I am using a telehealth service. I did not have a good interaction with another very similar service. I still keep my PCP updated.

I use a popular online service, and it's going well. I'm down about 55 pounds since late 2024, and I just got another 6-month supply.

I'm using a compounded version through a telehealth provider. I'm starting my second round (12 weeks) and am pleased with both their support and my progress (about 1 pound per week).

There are programs offering 3-month supplies for a fixed cost. I started semaglutide a few days ago and I immediately notice effects. If you go with that option, be sure your state is covered by their pharmacy's licensing. Otherwise, shipping delays or cancellations may happen. Verify the licensing on their website or call customer service.

I think it is wise you are trying to do your research. It can seem overwhelming, but it is important to proceed carefully.

For those considering semaglutide and who have a history of acid reflux, it's wise to consult with your doctor first. GLP-1s can sometimes worsen acid reflux. Starting with a very low dose and slowly increasing it might be helpful.
