Semi success: 1 year check-in

Been kinda shy sharing 'cause some folks have these crazy fast transformations. I just hit a year on the shot and I'm down about 38 pounds. Turns out I was only on the 1mg dose, and they might bump me to 2mg. Fingers crossed for even better results next year. The best part? I haven't bounced back like I used to!

I appreciate posts like this that show real progress over time. It gives a better sense of what to expect when the daily changes are subtle.

I think it's important to remember that everyone's journey is different. Some people lose weight faster than others, and that's okay! The important thing is to focus on making healthy changes and sticking with it. Aiming for 15% weight loss is considered a major success already.

I can relate to the slow and steady progress. I'm about 7 months in, and I've lost just over 20 pounds. My clothes fit better, and my cholesterol is down, so I'm happy with that! It's easy to get discouraged when you see other people's dramatic transformations, though!

Don't be shy! You're doing great!

I agree with ScaleGal685, slow and steady wins the race sometimes! I've only lost around 40 lbs in over two years on this, but my skin is doing really well, and it feels sustainable.

4 lbs a week like clockwork for 6 months then hitting the ceiling and needing to bump is the exact arc the OP is describing from a different angle. 55 lbs in a year is not a slow result - the fast transformations are the outliers, not the baseline. A year of consistent movement is a real result.
