Sharing my progress...

Okay, so I'm putting myself out there... It's tough, but I'm sure others can relate. I gave sema a shot last summer, but I only stuck with it for maybe 60 days. I kinda freaked myself out and stopped. Then, around mid-March this year, I decided to get back on it. Even though the scale's been moving, and my clothes are fitting better, I still get stuck in this headspace where I feel like I haven't really accomplished much. It's all in my head, I know. So, I did a side-by-side pic thing today. It's a good reminder to chill out and see what I've actually done. I wish I hadn't quit last time. SW was 212. Today I weighed in at 169.

Just a reminder that we don't allow discussion of non-approved formulations of sema, and selling/offering any meds is also not permitted. Don't respond to DMs offering such things.

Okay, first off, let's keep things positive. IMO, too much talk about breast size. You're actually losing on sema? That's huge! Many people can't even maintain, let alone lose. And don't beat yourself up about worrying. It's not being a hypochondriac. It's a valid concern. It's a relatively new medication, and many of us didn't realize things like muscle loss could happen until it was too late. I even had nerve issues in my legs from rapid weight loss. Anyway, if you can hit your goal and then maintain *without* the medication, you'll be ahead of most of us. Also, your progress pics look great! Keep it up!

That is incredible progress! I've seen similar success with my patients. Have you noticed any changes in your joint pain or mobility as you've lost weight?

That's a great question! Honestly, yes. My knees aren't killing me like they used to. Bending down to pick things up is way easier too. It’s those little things that make a big difference in quality of life, you know?
