Short hair after weight loss?

For as long as I can remember, I've hidden behind super long hair. I always thought women with bobs looked so chic, but I was convinced I could never pull it off with a fuller face and not a lot of definition. I'm down to 160 (started around 290, and 250 when I started this medication thing), and I just went for it! My partner has only ever known me with long hair. He was floored and made me feel amazing when I showed him. I really wish I would've done it sooner, I always thought it was just for skinny girls, but that was all in my head! I never thought I'd say I like my bone structure. haha.

You look fantastic! I'm hoping to get there. My hair is thinning so much that I may have to cut it all off soon anyway!

You were beautiful then and you're beautiful now! You could have totally rocked short hair before too!

That's my secret aspiration too! I'd love to have a short hairstyle, but right now my face feels too wide and I'm afraid it will only emphasize my saggy neck. But I'm planning to get a chop when I get closer to my goal weight.

I feel you! It's been like 2 decades for me! It's so nice you're believing in yourself. I'm so happy for you!

Haha, I did this, too! Went from long hair always in a ponytail to a fun bob! I felt like my face wasn't too chubby to get away with it, and I love it!

I'm so glad this resonated with so many. I'm down about 140 pounds total, and it's like, I have to keep rewarding myself for sticking to the plan!

I totally get the reward mentality, Lean_IRL! I'm already planning my post-loss wardrobe. I can't wait to buy some cute jeans that I haven't been able to wear since high school!

It's the overall health improvements! Better sleep, easier showering...it's life-changing!
I can finally sleep on my back without feeling like I'm suffocating. That's an NSV (non-scale victory)!
