Male, 35, somewhere around 5'4
Started at 190, now 157, aiming for 125
Just wanted to check in and give some hope to those of you who aren't seeing rapid changes.
The first pic is from May '25, the second from March '26. It's been almost a year to drop 33 pounds. I'm averaging half a pound to maybe three-quarters a week. Had a fast start, but the last few months have been more like trying to get rid of 2 pounds or so. I was stuck around 25 pounds down for maybe 3 months, then finally things moved a bit.
I wanted to post because it's easy to only see the big success stories and wonder what's wrong if it's not happening fast for you. I kinda thought I'd reached my goal by September '25 but things take time lol.
Even though it's taking longer than I thought, I just feel better and I'm learning to be happy with small wins and appreciate all my body's been through - few surgeries, a bad IUD, underactive thyroid, and adeno.
Still hoping for another 20-30 pounds down the road, but so happy to be feeling good and like myself again.
If things are slow, hang in there! Even small losses add up over time and you'll be able to see how far you've come eventually
