Soooo tired on this med?

Anyone else feeling super sluggish since starting this med? I'm wondering if it's because I'm just not eating as much as I used to.

Definitely a possibility. Early fatigue is pretty typical as your body adjusts to lower food intake and blood sugar fluctuations. I log my protein and water intake using a health app to prevent undereating without even realizing it. If it gets really bad or doesn't improve, you should talk to your doctor.

It totally could be! Food = fuel! You need a certain number of calories to function. Calculate your BMR and see if you're hitting it.

Yeah, it's easy to slip into undereating. Someone just reminded me that cutting calories too drastically can backfire.

I've also heard that growth hormone treatments can mess with your sleep, both in good and bad ways. So any other meds people are on might be playing a role.

Interesting! I hadn't considered that. I haven't started any other new meds, but it's good to keep in mind.

I'm exhausted too. I've read some people have insomnia from similar meds, waking up every couple hours. Anyone else experiencing that?

the quiet food noise is the best part. really reframes the whole willpower thing. it hits reward pathways in the brain directly. makes you think about how much mental energy all that background noise cost.

The stress reduction is a documented secondary effect - fewer arguments and better emotional regulation tends to track alongside the appetite change. Having a toddler in the house makes any reduction in baseline cortisol feel more noticeable.
