Stacking peptides with Reta...anyone tried it?

Hey everyone,

Starting a discussion here. I'm currently using reta, about 2.5mg weekly dose. Thinking about incorporating MOTS-C, but I've also been reading about SS-31. I understand kinda what they do, but I’m interested in hearing about your experiences, and any advice you might have for someone new to this.

Specifically, I'm curious how these work alongside Reta.

Reta is supposed to get rid of mitochondria that are damaged. So, adding MOTS-c could give you an extra kick, maybe? Some say they notice clean energy, but others feel nothing. For me, I notice it more when I'm not using it. It's like I just get through the day better without feeling as tired. When I stop, I tend to need a nap. Can't help with the SS31 info, but I'm also curious about it.
 
I used SS-31 for 6 weeks then transitioned to Mots-C. I am doing the 14-week protocol that's been shared. The idea is SS-31 repairs damaged mitochondria and Mots-c optimizes their function. I also take 600mg of NR daily. I didn't feel much from the SS-31, but Mots-C feels like an energy boost, so maybe SS-31 did its thing. The protocol suggests 5mg of Mots-C M/W/F for 6 weeks, but I had to lower it to 3mg because it was too strong. Might try 5mg again later. This protocol was tested on older rats, which translates to older people, like myself. Younger individuals might not experience the same effects due to less accumulated damage from aging.
 
Hey Sarah56, you mentioned 14-week protocol... is that just SS-31 into MOTS-c, or is it more complex than that? I'm trying to figure out the best way to stack this stuff for energy and maybe a little fat loss. Thanks!

It's considered a moderate interaction. It can impact glucose control. If your glucose is stable with the combo, and your doctor is aware, you might be fine. Just monitor your levels. There are interactions listed on Drugs.com
 
Hey guys! Complete newbie here. I've heard about stacking GHRPs with IGF-LR3. Is it worth it? I'm really interested in boosting athletic performance. I know injected GH at high doses can make a difference, but will these peptides do the same? Does increased IGF-1 stop the GHRP from working?
 
The distinction between reconstituted and lyophilized Reta matters for storage - lyo vials go in the freezer, but reconstituted Reta doesn't handle freezing as well as tirz does, so the fridge-only window is the practical constraint for reconstituted vials. For stacking alongside Reta at 2.5mg, MOTS-C and SS-31 have different entry points: MOTS-C targets mitochondrial function and works well as an ongoing stack, while SS-31 is more often cycled for acute protection. Cagri as an add-on to Reta makes mechanistic sense because the two peptides hit different receptor pathways, so the combination tends to add effect rather than just overlap. Starting low on whichever you add first and giving it two to three weeks before evaluating is the standard approach.
 
MOTS-C and SS-31 alongside reta are both interesting in theory - MOTS-C has mitochondrial signaling mechanisms that could complement the metabolic effects of reta, and SS-31 targets mitochondrial membrane integrity. The honest answer is that the anecdotal data is genuinely mixed, and the response variability is high enough that individual reports won't predict your result. At 2.5mg weekly on reta, the base effect should be noticeable on its own before adding anything else - gives you a cleaner signal.
 
the more-BAC-is-safer-than-less guideline for reconstitution when uncertain is the right default - the bacteriostatic coverage and reduced aggregation risk both favor slightly more BAC water over less. the upper bound on BAC concentration is its own issue, but diluting a bit further when uncertain is generally the lower-risk direction
 
The SS-31 dosing protocols are genuinely inconsistent in the discussions I've come across. Most of what circulates is extrapolated from research rather than clinical data. Knowing what you're trying to achieve from it specifically might help narrow down whether the effort is worth it at this stage.
