Running complete third-party testing on my end, purity, sterility, endotoxins, all checked.
Came here hoping to learn about tested water sourcing, not to see homebrew get pushed as the answer. That's a separate conversation entirely.
There are other paths to proper water available domestically beyond mixing your own. Homebrewing adds risk that isn't necessary. Maybe that doesn't bother you, but others reading this thread deserve to know safer options exist.
Funny how homebrew gets labeled risky while the same logic claims DIY somehow beats labs with real equipment, verified testing, and years of customer-driven checks. Not convinced. So sure, call tested water risky if you want, but DIY water gets a free pass somehow. Same reckless attitude either way, homebrew stays at the bottom of my list, unverified and unvalidated across every measure.
Waiting on my next verified batch now. The money spent on homebrew supplies could just as easily cover proper tested water in a smaller quantity instead.
Problems with mixing it yourself:
Materials from unverified sourcing
Weak sterile handling technique
Incorrect preservative concentration
Skipped safety testing entirely
Basic filtration won't catch every contaminant type
It's simply not equivalent to something professionally verified.
