Still keepin' at it!

It's been 13 months of keeping the weight off, after being on this stuff for 17 months total. Current weight's around 155, highest was 215. I'm still kinda shocked I've been able to maintain! Always struggled with bouncing back and forth before. Feels like there's hope now, that I'll still be doing well years from now. Sometimes it still seems too good to be real.

It's encouraging that you've been able to keep it off for over a year! I've gained and lost the same like 80 pounds over and over. It's always when I try going back to eating 'regularly' after dieting that I mess up. Being able to actually maintain after I lose weight is why I'm even trying this. Thanks for the inspiration!

Awesome job! Such a great story, really happy for you. What's your maintenance like? Dosage and how often? And have you been able to keep a good body composition – body fat and muscle? I'm on 2.5mg every 10 days for the past couple of months. The 'food noise' is back, but my weight's about the same. I like not having side effects anymore, but I'm worried about keeping the weight off long-term. I work out a lot and eat pretty healthy, but I've been eating more lately. I'm thinking about going to a shot every 2 weeks, if that's doable. Mostly for cost, since I'm paying out of pocket.

I'm glad my experience helps encourage you

. It IS possible! Don't give up.

I've been on Ozempic for a year and a half now for PCOS, high BP, and pre-diabetes. Started at 330 pounds, now I'm about 265. Huge success in my book! I'm off BP meds and no longer pre-diabetic. Doctors always told me to just diet and exercise, even though I was an athlete! So frustrating. I'm so happy with my 'new' body.

I've found that if I stop losing weight for extended periods, I consider reverse dieting. I'll add like 100 calories each week back into my diet until I find what works as maintenance. I think it's worth looking into if you hit a plateau,
