Still losing on Wegovy after a year!

Hong Kong Yanpep International
Eggs as a GLP-1 trigger is more common than it should be given the protein density - the sulfur smell hits the nausea response harder than most foods. A year out and still holding means the aversion likely set rather than faded.

The loss holding through a 3-week pause is the metabolic adaptation being structural - 18 weeks at 2.5mg shifts the baseline, not just the pharmacology.

A year in and still going on GHK-Cu is more data than most sources offer. Still alive is a low bar, but it counts.

Still losing after a year on Wegovy is not the typical outcome - most hit the bodyweight ceiling by this point. The tirz switch is legitimate at plateau but not urgent while things are still moving.

58 lbs in year one and 2 since January is the pace you'd expect when the easy work is done. The body defending the last 20-25 more aggressively is a real pattern and the wall you've hit before is exactly the range where it tends to happen. Pushing dose up or adjusting the approach might be what breaks it.

I'd hold out through one or two more titration cycles personally. That bump could just be water retention, digestion, or plain random noise. Learned to trust the overall pattern over time. You'll notice my own post history reads pretty anxious too, so I get where you're coming from. Only three pounds lost across six months myself (after roughly 22 on wegovy before switching), but it's still trending the right direction so I'm practicing patience. Still new to this mindset, working on it though.

Also on round two of 7.5 and the side effects have stuck around longer and hit harder than anything wegovy ever threw at me. Still holding out hope it pans out.

Anyway, I know the mental side of this gets rough sometimes. Hold off bumping the dose until you've finished at least one more full titration round. See how your body responds, plus it buys you a buffer against whatever side effects tend to show up right after a dose increase.

Started WeGovy roughly three months after weaning, so around 16 months postpartum, and I've dropped about 50 pounds over eight months, though I've been stuck on what feels like an endless plateau (really only about four weeks in actual time). Progress showed up fast once I got on WeGovy. Only real regret is not starting sooner, honestly.

Very similar situation here, different height though. Been at this for a good while and only down a modest amount. Starting to consider myself a slow responder at this point. Currently on a moderate dose. Planning to move up eventually, and after enough time, might bring up switching to a different branded version instead. Such a shame really, since insurance actually covers the current one.
