Stockpile now or wait for deals?

I'm getting the urge to buy a bunch of tirzepatide. I'm pretty new to all this and don't know how prices usually change. Should I stock up now with the current promotions, or should I wait for Black Friday or other holiday deals?
 
Why the need to rush? It's not like the market is going anywhere. Just get what you currently need. Then, wait for a nice deal from a trustworthy vendor.

@dionysos often shares good offers from vendors he thinks are okay. I'd still suggest you do your own research though.

Just my thoughts.
 
If you have followed this for a while, you'll see that the discounts don't change much from one holiday to another. Also, people often regret buying too much because they want to try new things when they plateau. Like Reta, or Cagri.
 
Looking back at some old posts, tirz was about double the price it is now, maybe a year ago. So, stocking up a bit isn't a terrible idea. But, it could also get cheaper in the next year. Plus, there are promos every few weeks.
 
I probably have a peptide hoarding problem, haha. I could stack Tirz and Reta and be good for a couple of years.

Hopefully, by then, they'll have one that lasts a month or more, so I only have to inject it once in a while.

That's a good point; I hadn't thought about that.
 
I'm seeing a lot of Tirz for sale on the secondary market. I think many folks panic-bought a few months back. Now, they are trying to sell it off. I'm one of them. Had more than a 3-year supply at my current dose. I do understand wanting to have a lot on hand though.
 
The newer peptides might be more interesting to people, so demand for tirz could drop. I don't think the price will change much, but who knows.
 
If the price doesn't likely go up (which it doesn't seem like it will), and I have enough for now, then it makes sense to wait and see if it drops.
 
Even though I agree there's no need to fill your freezer, I also feel the urge to get more. I'm worried about access becoming difficult. I've also wondered about what will happen when compounding stops. Will I have enough to survive that?

I'm aiming for an 18 month supply. It's a bit much, but it helps me worry less. I'll wait and see what deals come up during the holidays.
 
I don't think prices will increase very much.

There could be a price jump if they classify peptides as controlled substances, but that seems unlikely. Or, if the best sources can't keep up with production, quality might suffer.

Availability will remain high, and prices will probably be stable. That is just my feeling.
 
That's my thought too. Why would prices drop if demand keeps rising? I don't expect triz to get much cheaper.

The thought of peptides being controlled is scary. More likely, compounding will be forced to stop. Then, some people who don't want to risk research products might stop using them. I bet at least 10% would switch to research peptides, causing a demand spike.

I hope I'm wrong, and I end up with too much stuff in my freezer, rather than people not getting what they need.
 
The best advice is to have enough to wait out the next shortage. But don't buy a crazy amount. I agree that a shortage is coming when they stop compounding. They will probably give a few months' warning around the start of next year.
 
So many people are excited about Reta. I'm also intrigued since my fatigue might be from Tirz and not depression.
