Suddenly craving EVERYTHING?!

Just had my second injection yesterday. The queasiness is intense, hoping it chills out tomorrow. But here's the kicker.

Yeah, I can't put away as much food as usual, but the cravings are unreal! I'm dying for tacos, spaghetti carbonara, literally any cake.

Before this, I was taking Adipex, Wellbutrin, and Contrave. The cravings weren't nearly this bad, or I'd handled it before. I'm obsessing over it. I've dropped 90 lbs over 2 years and kinda stalled, hence my doc suggesting Ozempic. I'm paying for it myself.

I'm also so bloated it's insane! 😫 Tell me it gets better... I'm at a loss. I can barely eat even if I gave in to my cravings, so I wouldn't even enjoy it. I could scream.

It takes a while for these meds to really kick in. I noticed when my blood sugars started leveling out, even dipping a little low, I got way more sugar cravings. It's just part of the process sometimes.

Maybe you're just hungry so all you can think about is yummy food? The protein shakes from Walmart are good. More protein could help maybe?

It's possible the Ozempic is affecting your hunger hormones differently than the previous meds, even though naltrexone should theoretically still be working. It's complex. The gut-brain connection is still being researched. Give it a few weeks and track your symptoms. If it persists, definitely talk to your doctor about adjusting the dosage or adding something else.

I heard that some people take it even if they aren't overweight to help with like, compulsive eating?

Yeah, I've seen discussions about that too. It's not just about weight loss for some folks. It's about managing food noise and stuff.

Just took my first dose yesterday and I'm pumped. Down 102 lbs this year without meds (Vyvanse for binge stuff). Not chasing weight loss, just relief from fighting cravings and binges. Heard it kills the food noise — sounds like a dream. My brain's better but it's still tiring. Plus Vyvanse has me worried about blood pressure.

Before meds i thought i was starving all the time. Looking back... that was just noise. could crush a whole meal and still planning the next snack in my head. now trying to figure out where real hunger ends and cravings begin.

Your blood sugar might be tanking, which causes nausea and dizziness AND hunger. Grab some juice or a small snack if you can - you don't need diabetes for hypoglycemia to happen on this stuff. Also, dehydration does the same thing. I keep a sports drink handy for when I feel off.

filter everything except the air i'm venting. bought hydrophobic filters and realized i'm injecting air anyway when drawing dose so no point using just air filter during reconstituting.

Cravings on the second injection track with hormone cycle interaction - the GLP-1 effect on ghrelin gets disrupted mid-cycle.
