So, I got my low-dose script from a clinic, and it said to use 8 units. I only injected like, one measly unit just to test the waters. Total chicken, haha. I might try two units next week. I know I'll go through it faster this way, but I'd rather not feel awful. I only want to lose maybe 10-12 pounds, but I'm mainly doing it for inflammation, the joys of early menopause... and, ugh, the constant food cravings are intense, so fingers crossed that improves. Anyone else start this way?

Yes! I started with around 15 lbs to get rid of, plus dealing with menopause symptoms and swelling. I began at 8 units for a couple of weeks—felt something after my second dose of 16 units. Now I'm at 24 units and doing great!

I've looked through a lot of threads trying to figure this out. Coming in fresh, where's the best place to learn? Don't want to drop hundreds and then chicken out. Any threads that really helped you understand it?

The med stays in your system for awhile, so I would recommend logging your doses on an app like Shotsy. That way you can track how you feel with different levels of the medication in your system, since it hangs around longer than just one week.

I agree with @Sassy_Good. Better to be safe than sorry! Never mess around with this stuff without talking to your provider. Even small dose changes can have big effects.

I'm traveling soon and my shot day lands right in the middle of the trip. I'm debating whether to do a half dose a day early to get me through, skip it entirely, or just take the full dose a day early. Ugh, the anxiety! Anyone else deal with this?

When I travel I just stick to my usual schedule. I wouldn't mess with it, especially not right before a flight!

To @Dakota1976 If it were me, I'd probably just do the dose a day early. It probably won't make a huge difference. I'm pretty lax about the schedule. Sometimes I do it on one day, sometimes another.

I totally agree with @FiberWine! It's hard to change your eating habits, even when the meds are helping. I keep having to remind myself to eat smaller portions.

try KPV if you haven't. designed for gut stuff originally but also wipes out candida. VIP relaxes blood vessels and boosts flow everywhere—be careful with dose though, can tank your blood pressure if you go too high.

Dang, looking incredible! The glow up is real. (Writing this as pure observation from someone happily married lol)
