Surgery + GLP-1: a total win!

Hong Kong Yanpep International
Looking in the mirror I feel like a deflated balloon honestly. Clothes look decent on me though. Sometimes it gets to me but I count that as progress since I can see how much fell off. Target is another 6-7 kg then maintenance and save for procedures. Been thinking about doing tummy arm and thigh lifts all together. At 47 single I do wonder if cosmetic surgery spending is really worth it though.

the surgical application is one of the most compelling use cases for GHK-Cu - improved collagen production and blood flow to healing tissue are exactly the requirements post-procedure, and the hiatal closure context specifically benefits from tissue that heals with good structural integrity. timing relative to the surgery and starting dose are worth discussing with your prescribing doctor since some surgeons have preferences about peptide use in the immediate post-op window

Most people quietly judge you at least a little if your weight loss didn't come purely from eating right and working out. I've had bariatric surgery and use a GLP-1 to hold my loss, so I say little about it.

I recognise this outrage. Anyone who had bariatric surgery years ago, when it was novel, remembers the flak: 'Easy way out!' they said. 'Surgery? Then you didn't truly lose it yourself.' Plus all the usual greatest hits. This strikes me as the same attitude again, just extended. Some folks clearly think losses count only when you suffered enough getting there. My mindset back then is my mindset today, as I open this next chapter. Brand new to this place, and today I start Mounjaro! Solid evidence shows GLP-1 drugs help enormously, reaching well past weight loss alone. I'd urge anyone judging others to read up on the research before speaking, because the science keeps showing benefits in areas people don't expect.
