Switching from Sema to Reta...any advice?

Hong Kong Yanpep International
8mg reta as the ceiling on tolerable dose and then adding sema every 3 days to cover what the higher dose would have done is a creative solution. 110 total with another 8 on the combination is a strong result. Going from 10 lbs on sema to that kind of total - the combination piece seems to be what moved things.

Sema working well until tolerability capped at 1mg and then switching to TZ is a really common two-step progression before reta comes into the picture. The OP's 10 lbs on sema before switching is a smaller response than some, which actually makes the mechanism-switch argument for reta more interesting. Did TZ fix the tolerability issue that stopped you on sema?

The split dosing approach for sema side effects is actually a smart starting move, and hearing it made things more even makes sense. Transitioning from split sema to reta should be manageable if you start reta low and give it a few weeks before assessing. What dose of reta are you planning to start at?
