Switching from Tirzepatide to Semaglutide

Hi everyone, ran five weeks of a lower tirz dose and actually did pretty well, lost 14 pounds and felt good overall, but suspect it wasn't quite strong enough since sugar cravings started creeping back after just three days post-injection. Doctor suggested either bumping the dose up or switching to a higher sema amount instead. Decided to switch since it's noticeably cheaper, but unsure how that transition will feel going from the lower tirz amount straight into that sema dose. Any advice or tips appreciated.

Just started at 15mg. Weight loss has come slower than I expected. Even so I'm planning to switch over to sema for cost reasons, way cheaper. Curious to see how that goes for me too.

Still really early into my sema journey, but already seeing a shift in weight along with a boost in energy. Haven't dealt with any of the side effects I ran into on tirz either.

Had a rough first reaction to semaglutide myself. Forceful vomiting, felt awful, couldn't eat for a few days straight. Tried again the following week at a much lower dose and it went fine. Titrated up gradually after that and never really ran into trouble again.

Hi! So I ran semaglutide until hitting 200 lbs, which took roughly ten months. Most of my original gain came from antidepressants, so I think it dropped off a bit easier since it packed on so fast. Then I plateaued at 200 for a few months maxed out on sema. Switched over to tirz and got down to 165. Hit that mark around February?

Timeline-wise: started ozempic January 2025 going from 260 to 200 by roughly October 2025, then tirz that October got me to 165 by February 2026. Been holding steady there ever since, still running tirz. Sorry if that's a bit of a jumbled timeline lol.
