Syringe hookup?!?

Hey everyone!!

Having problems ordering more needles/syringes from that big online retailer; won't deliver to Florida. Looking for at least 100 units. Any leads?

Not sure if it's the same in Florida, but in CA you can order pet insulin needles. They bill them as the exact same thing, just marketed differently. I like the small ones, around 0.3 ml as I try to inject less than that amount each time. Usually around $20!

You could also see if there's a local pharmacy around you. I get my meds cheaper there than online. I haven't had to buy syringes from them before though, since certain ones ship to my place in NY just fine via Amazon.

I appreciate your frustration, but comparing the two isn't really valid.

Harm reduction programs (like those vending machines) are there to prevent the spread of diseases, not for getting around rules for personal convenience. Different problems, different approaches.

That being said, you're right about the bureaucratic states that require a prescription. I'm now curious about *why*...

Thanks! I've been looking for someone with faster shipping, the place I was using before took forever. I'm so annoyed that we can't get them delivered to CA via Amazon.

I got them shipped to FL from Amazon last week, and another package is arriving tomorrow. I think if the syringes are listed as HSA/FSA eligible on Amazon, they can't be shipped to FL.

You're welcome, it *is* annoying. Amazon's speed is unmatched. Pet insulin needles to the rescue! I've switched to 1ml syringes with a 27g needle to draw the stuff up, then switch to a fresh 30g needle to inject. A fresh needle makes a world of difference.
