Tesa turning to jelly?!

Okay, so I've been buying my stuff from US-based suppliers for a while now, no issues. But recently, I grabbed some Tesamorelin 10mg from overseas. It got here quick and looked okay. I checked the vials and threw them in the freezer. Last night, I go to mix one up with some sterile water, using 2mL like always. And bam, the whole thing turns into a gel blob in minutes. Never had this happen except with AOD9604. So, I'm thinking somethings up. I double check, grab another new vial of sterile water AND another Tesamorelin vial, and same thing! Instant gel.

I hit up the company, send pics, and they're like "Did you use acetic acid?" I've never used that for Tesamorelin before. Anyone else use it? Or has anyone else gotten recent Tesa that they can test out?

I'm not sure, but if you still have the gelled stuff, I'd check its pH level. It might give you a clue.

Maybe the vendor is onto something about pH being important:

...

I'm like 26 weeks into using tesa (2 mg, 5 days on, 2 days off) with no-name sterile water and never had any issues. Never even heard of using acetic acid for it.

I just saw on a Telegram group someone had a similar issue with CJC-ipa, but they used the company's own sterile water.

From another community, they were told by their supplier to use acetic acid with their tesa (after it gelled!), and it apparently fixed it.

I added some acetic acid, and it only partially turned back into liquid. Maybe the sterile water is bad? It was sitting in my mailbox in the heat for hours. Maybe it's fake. Who even knows anymore? I just checked the pH of the water they sent me... it's a 10! A TEN!

They're saying to mix it with acetic acid AND more sterile water.

Tesa is apparently very pH sensitive.

I'm having the same issue! I contacted them and they're sending a replacement, but when I opened another one, it GELLED too. Both were mixed with new sterile water from different brands. SMH, just opened a third vial with more generic sterile water. I'll keep you posted on if it gels.

I’m starting to think maybe it’s a completely different peptide in the vial. Like, maybe AOD and Tesa got mixed up or mislabeled?

If you try acetic acid, add it VERY slowly. When I had to fix my ARA, I added one tiny bit of baking soda at a time until it turned back into liquid. It took like 3 little bits.

I've had the same problem with Tesa (and AOD) from them (purple caps 10mg). They told me to use acetic acid water after it gelled with sterile water. I've tried different combos:

-3mg AA water
-6mg AA water
-3mg their bac water
-3mg sterile water
-3mg generic sterile water
-4mg their bac water
-6mg their bac water

Everything gelled within a day. They said their lab would test it. They didn't share what batch they used. Just said “no issues found”. They won't replace it and said to try 30ml of AA water for 10mg of Tesa! I'm not happy.

I'm going through the same thing. First 5 vials were great, no issues. Last 4, they all gelled. The manufacturers website says Tesa shouldn't be refrigerated or frozen once mixed and should be used right away. Be nice if they had 2mg vials for cheap. I'll add ml AA water to 1ml sterile water and see if that helps. I did try adding 0.5mcg of something else to my last batch and it didn't gel as fast, but still did. My tesa isn't from the same place as yours and I had the same sterile water issue, but different suppliers.

Just happened to me this week. Mixed a vial of Tesa. It was a 10mg vial and my dose is 1mg, so 10 doses. 9 were fine, but one gelled after I dropped it. I've read to be gentle when mixing, like don't shake it. When I dropped the syringe, it gelled right away. So, be gentle.
