This med is making me a new person!

I can't get my hands on any more medication until January, the demand around here is crazy! What I've noticed, though, is that my relationship with food has improved.

I focus on my food and take my time. The insane hunger I used to feel, like wanting to devour an entire pizza after a protein shake, is still there, but I can actually control it! My body is still a fiend, but I have the power to say no.

I agree that obesity's a chronic illness. A doctor told me that the body does everything it can to maintain weight, and I see that now.

My progress pics might not be the best, but I'm still shocked at how this drug has changed my body and mind. I think my insulin sensitivity has improved, and my energy, while not perfect, is better. I can't wait to get my next dose and keep going!

Keep at it, everyone.
Improve your life, stay healthy, and build better habits. You'll see results.

You look great! I started around February '23 at 240, started taking this in July '24, and I'm currently at 182. You're inspiring. Okay, I'm 46, so I won't be as tight as you, but you're inspiring! Keep at it!

Pics don't show it? Girl, you're hot stuff now (kidding, kidding). You look amazing, and I'm happy for you. You're healthier, and you've set yourself up for a great life. Congrats, and you'll hit your goal weight in no time. You're smashing it!

I'm in my first week with 0.25, and I haven't seen a change in appetite yet, but I'm so excited to see the results after 5 months. My current weight is also 95 kg. How long did it take you to feel a difference, and did you feel anything in the first week?

I'm having a hard time getting enough protein. ToneLean and others, how do you all manage to hit your protein goals while on this medication? I'm always feeling full.

For protein, I drink those protein coffees in the AM with protein powder and milk, and sometimes add flax or hemp hearts. Lunch is usually a piece of fruit, nuts, cheese, or a protein bar. Dinner is meat or beans with vegetables. My appetite is low, so I really focus on protein and fiber.

Shape-Boss, I noticed subtle change in the initial week, but those changes were way more mental than physical! I am way more resistant to cravings now. I'm eating a lot of pineapple and oatmeal cookies with lots of seeds. Keep it going!

I'm an RD, and I work with people on GLP-1s. I think diet can help with some of the GI issues you get on these drugs. I always tell patients to aim for 100g of protein a day and 25 different servings of veggies a week.

Hey Fiber_Lean, is it normal to be able to eat more before my next dose? I inject on Sundays, and by Saturday, I can eat without feeling sick. I'm increasing soon, and I was thinking of splitting the dose to keep me full.
