This shot really DOES work!

I kicked off my weight shedding around August of last year and managed to ditch about 20 pounds through diet and exercise. Then I added Ozempic this February and have since lost another 45 pounds. I'm currently at 1 mg and haven't experienced any real side effects, besides some hair thinning which I think is related to the weight coming off so fast. For me, this med is a game changer! Happy to answer any queries or provide any help!

It seems like everyone is fixated on the transformation pics. If you look at the most popular threads in this group, it's all before and afters.

What I'm really curious about is how has losing weight impacted your overall health?

You look amazing. Great job. I started Tirzepatide a week ago and am dealing with some diarrhea and nausea. I'm trying to eat several small meals to see if it reduces the side effects. How are you managing your meals?

Congrats! What are you doing to combat the hair thinning? Also, can you explain what you mean by "hair loss is due to the weight loss?"

You looked beautiful both before and after, but you definitely radiate a healthier and happier vibe now! I'm on a similar journey. I initially lost roughly 30 pounds on my own and then started the injections about two months ago because a) I hit a plateau with my own efforts and b) my doctor told me I was doing well, but still far from a healthy weight. I've experienced some minor nausea, but nothing too bad. I'm hoping to drop another 20 pounds!

I started taking a biotin supplement and made sure I'm eating enough protein. When you lose weight rapidly, it can be a shock to the body and cause temporary hair shedding. It should grow back!

I agree with everyone that semaglutide has been life-changing. I bounced around my whole adult life but I'm finally getting somewhere.
