This stuff is HOW much?!

Yeah... American politicians have been in Big Pharma's pockets for decades. Here in Canada, it's around $200 USD per pen. Like most countries with public healthcare, we think it's nuts that essential healthcare is a business instead of a public service. $15k is wild!

My fridge is similar, but I've also got my kid's eczema medication. We're probably pushing past 40 grand in meds in my fridge

Why the huge stockpile?

Is that the door? The temperature fluctuates in the door. It's not good for eggs, so don't store expensive temperature-sensitive medicines there. I stash my extra doses in a climate-controlled crisper drawer since I'm in Louisiana.

20 pens?! That's €5000 in the Netherlands if you buy it without a script. With a script, it's just €2500, and insurance picks up the tab.

All of you complaining about America... I pay $20 monthly for my Wegovy. The problem isn't America; it's your employer choosing a terrible plan.

I hope your president stops messing with Denmark; imagine the price if there are crazy tariffs on top of what you pay now.

Anyone else notice they're actually saving money now? I used to drop like $900-1000 a month on takeout without even thinking. Now it's halved! Maybe I can finally afford that vacation...

Oh yeah! My restaurant and booze spending dropped like a rock. Gotta be careful not to buy too many snacks now, or they'll go bad before I can eat them!

Just a heads-up, you might want to budget for some new clothes down the road. All those savings might disappear into a new wardrobe!
