Tirz dosage help?

Hey everyone, looks like I'm joining the crew figuring this out since the mixing places are drying up.

I've been using a mixed tirz, but my local places aren't doing it anymore, so I'm switching over.

I've read a ton about where to buy, but the hardest part is figuring out my current dose.

It used to look like this:

It was in 3 separate 1ml bottles.

Questions:
1. Cyanocobalamin? Seems like vit B12. Is it needed?
2. Does this mean 20mg/ml of tirz to BAC + .5mg/ml of b12 to BAC? How does that compare to Zepbound?
3. How do I know how much bac water to add? Any easy charts for dosage?

I'm really confused on how much tirz and BAC to get to match my current dose, never mind larger doses later down the line.

I checked a few places, but couldn't find the info I needed.

Bonus questions:
4. Does the BAC or tirz powder expire? Can I just buy a ton of it and keep it in the fridge for a year?

Ok, so 1ml equals 100 units. Your bottle has 20mg in each ml.

63 units = 0.63ml

0.63ml x 20 = 12.6

So your dose is roughly 12.6mg.

This site has a decent calculator. https://primepeptides.co/pages/peptide-calculator

I'm not saying to buy from there, just that the calculator is useful. You don't really need the B12, they add it so it's technically not the same as the brand name. The most you can take of tirzepatide in studies was 15mg weekly. So just go with that and figure it out. Read some more while you use up what you have. You might want to order from a domestic source first, it'll cost more than from China but less than the mixing places (and you can get smaller amounts). One place I've used is Skye, they have some good stuff on their website.

The powder will last a long time in a cool dark place, or for years if you freeze it. Once you mix it, best to use it within a month, but some people go longer. Keep the mixed stuff in the fridge but don't refrigerate the bac water.

Yeah, just divide the dose mg by the vial mg to see how many doses you get. The amount of water just depends on how much bac water you add, that's where the calculators help. Most bottles can only hold 3ml, so keep that in mind.

How often should we replace the bac water after opening it? My vial is larger than I'll use in a month, and I'm wondering how long it's good for. Thanks!

Usually its 4 weeks. I've used Hospira for nearly 60 days with no issues. Keep it away from light and in the fridge.

Wow, I thought it lasted longer. I have a 30mL bottle and only use about 1.5 mL each month... I need to find smaller bottles.

Thanks!

I thought you stored it at room temp, like 60-80. We did that at the hospital, out of the light but not cold. The one-month limit is if you're using it a lot, so the alcohol doesn't evaporate. I use them for 2-3 months, some people even longer. I write the date I open it on the bottle.

I'd feel fine using it for 3 months, but I don't want to give anyone bad advice. I know some people use plain old sterile water and don't have any problems.

Thanks everyone! I've probably put worse things in my body, so it's up to each of us. I'll just order a few extra bottles to have on hand.

I agree, back in the day they were multi-dose vials and there was concern about transferring stuff between people. Now hospitals use single-use only. Good idea to write the date you opened it. I've seen tests that BAC water starts to break down around 3 months after you open it, so that seems like a good limit.

I checked the safety data sheets and websites for those brands and couldn't find anything about keeping it cold after you open it. They give a temp range, but it's not refrigerator temps. Where did you hear this?

I've seen it mentioned in places on the forum, but if you search online you'll find people suggest keeping it cold after opening. If you don't open it, room temp is fine. Once opened, keep it in the fridge and it should last about a month, some say up to two, but that's your call.

Yeah, I've seen people say it, but it's not official anywhere, like safety sheets, packaging, websites, nothing. I'm just trying to find out where it started.
