Tirz first-timer q's - am I doing this rite?

Alright, crew, I'm jumping into Tirz territory for the first time.

Quick backstory: I dabbled with Sema when my husband got a script (purely out of curiosity, of course!), and saw some results. But the constipation? Hard pass. I'm pretty active, hitting the gym daily, and just trying to shed a few stubborn pounds. My main reason for trying Tirz is my insane sugar cravings – I'm talking daily candy binges. I'm normally good with protein and decent carbs. I know, I know, some might think it's NBD, but it's a real issue for me. I'm at the age where I'm done relying on willpower alone. If there's an easier path, I'm all for it.

So, here's my deal: I grabbed my first batch of Tirz from an overseas source (not one mentioned here). I started with the recommended 2.5mg dose. And...nothing. I feel almost nothing, maybe a slight fullness, but nothing that stops me from devouring those sweets. I keep seeing posts about how Tirz silences the food chatter, and that's what I'm after.

My thoughts:
1. My source is bogus.
2. I need to up the dose.
3. Maybe Tirz isn't for me.

Anyone willing to offer some advice or share their Tirz experiences? No judgment, please!

Sorry for the long post!

The majority of studies utilized 10mg as the effective dosage. There were trials that used 7.5mg and 15mg as well. The gradual increase in dosage is intended to lessen or avoid adverse effects, if I'm not mistaken. You're currently in the first stage of the initial phase. Be patient and allow it some time to function. Some individuals respond well to 2.5 and remain there indefinitely. Naturally, individual responses vary.

Spend some time researching what you're putting into your body. Understanding what to anticipate will make your experience much more pleasurable.

Yep, you're still at the baby dose of 2.5mg. For many, the appetite suppression and vanishing food noise don't really kick in until you're at a much higher dose. Stick to the titration schedule, let it build up in your system, and hopefully it'll happen. I wouldn't even start to stress until you hit 10mg and still feel zip, so you've got a ways to go.

I'd also like to mention that each injection you receive contributes to the buildup of Tirz in your system for the first three to four weeks. You can observe the impact of each injection here, starting with a weekly dose of 2.5mg on October 7th.

. It's a cumulative effect. Don't expect miracles overnight at that starting dose. It is designed to minimize side effects initially and allow your body to adjust.

Hey @Jordan_23, hang tough! I totally get the sugar thing. Have you tried upping your protein even more while you titrate up? I find that when I can feel the cravings creeping in, a protein shake or even just a handful of nuts can help hold me over until the meds fully kick in.

Good tip, @Belly-B-Gone. I'll give the extra protein a shot. Anything to avoid another malteser massacre!

To add to the discussion, I remember reading about someone who started Ozempic and lost almost 6 lbs in the first week! It's encouraging to hear success stories, especially when starting out. Some people respond really quickly even at low doses. Everyone is unique. Don't get discouraged if you aren't seeing those numbers immediately!

Consistency is key! I read a really inspiring post from someone who's been on Ozempic for over a year. They said that even when things felt tough or progress seemed slow, sticking with it made a huge difference. They dropped from 140kg to 81kg! That kind of dedication is what it takes.

Just a heads-up that my Amo Cagri arrived last week and works perfectly with no pH issues. First Amo jab this week after Skye Peptides before. On Amo Tirz at 7.5mg total weekly with split dosing and Cagri at 0.6mg now. Continuing to lose - down 58 pounds since June.

Getting that buzzing-under-the-skin sensation and weird goosebumps timing. Panicked at first thinking histamine but it seems separate. Antihistamines, workouts and sauna help the most. Curious what else has worked for people.

Did my first shot on Sunday, split 1.5mg across the week. Put on six pounds right away but hunger's still there, which I wasn't counting on anyway. The headaches the past couple days have been rough, though today was better so that's something.

Using Tesa myself for the first time soon. Hoping it might help with some fat loss, but what I'm really after is faster recovery and possibly better sleep. Should arrive any day now - I'm running a group test though so probably won't get to my own supply for a couple of weeks.

Batch reconstitution with freezing is the standard approach for anyone doing long cycles - you lose some potency margin over 8+ weeks in the freezer but the convenience trade-off is worth it for most people, and pre-filling syringes holds better than unfilled vials kept cold.
