Tirz from a gas station?!

So, I picked up some Tirz from a place down the street. They gave me the instructions, but I'm not sure if they're right. I did everything they said, but I don't feel much. Just a little full, but not much else. Is my dose too low, or is it the product itself? I'd appreciate any thoughts before I talk to them tomorrow.

Was that your first dose? If you just started, be patient. It takes a little while to kick in. If you followed the instructions, you're probably on the starting dose. Stick with it for a month to let your body get used to it. Then, you can slowly increase the dose. Don't rush things; it can take weeks, if not a couple months, to find the right dose for you. Increasing it too fast can cause more side effects.

Wait, are you saying you're starting with 0.25mg of Tirz? The usual starting dose is 2.5mg. Seems like there's a big difference there. Are you going for a super low dose on purpose? If not, that vial could last you almost forever lol

That Tirz dose probably won't do much for you. That's more like a starting dose for Sema, not Tirz.

When you say "local place," do you mean a random shop or a legit clinic? Unless I'm missing something, the info you're getting might not be very reliable. Are you sure it's even Tirz and not Sema?

Oops, I forgot to mention I take that dose twice a week.

And it's a small supplement store near my place. They usually sell peptides to the local bodybuilders.

Okay, I see. :)

To get better advice, some more info would help. The typical starting point for Tirz is 2.5mg a week, as VialGains mentioned. So, you're taking only 1/5 of the normal starting dose from a doctor. It's unlikely to have a big effect.

But it depends what you're using it for. If you only want a slight decrease in appetite, starting low and increasing slowly until you get the effect you want is fine.

It's usually better to take it every 5-7 days instead of twice a week. Since it's a store that sells to bodybuilders, they might not understand the half-life of tirz very well. I had a similar issue coming from a similar background. Steroid esters release differently than the slow-release of tirzepatide.

I'm taking the peptides for weight loss. It started when I began TRT last month because I was feeling tired and down. My younger brother suggested this supplement store and they recommended Tirz. Some friends from my old job are on it, but I didn't pay attention until now. Like you said, I've had some appetite suppression, but not a lot. I can still eat 3 meals a day without issues. It's mostly curbed my snacking, but I'm also working on that personally.

Yep, that's better for a once-a-week shot with a starting dose of 2.5mg. If you have the option, use only 2ml of BAC water, then you'd inject 50 units on the syringe (0.5ml). That would give you 4x2.5mg doses (10mg total) spread over 4x0.5ml shots (for a total of 2ml).

You can also adjust how much BAC water you add. I prefer to add only 1ml of BAC to 10 mg of Tirzepatide, so you're only injecting 25 units.

With a 10mg vial, I'd mix it with 1ml of BAC water. That means drawing 25 units for a 2.5mg dose. I prefer to inject as little liquid as possible!

10mg mixed with 1ml seems standard for compounding pharmacies. It gives you four 25-unit draws of 2.5mg, and there shouldn't be any burning issues at that concentration (10mg/1 ml). But if you want to inject 50+ units per dose, go ahead.

Correct, but 50 units isn’t an issue at all, so there's no problem with using 2ml if he prefers it. The recommendation for subq is to not inject more than 3ml per injection. 0.5 ml isn't a large injection at all.

It's amazing how many people still don't get that obesity is a medical issue. Congrats on taking charge of your health!

You've come to the right place! We're here to support you, answer questions, and share our experiences. Keep up the great work! I've been on Sema for a while now, and it's been a game changer. It's really helped me change my relationship with food and build better habits.
