Tirz good enough, or switch?

33, 5'7. started tirzepatide in december at 208, down to 180 now. on 10mg every 6 days plus 500mg metformin daily. huge improvement from where i was.

Started reta last month after almost a year on tirz, and honestly I'm cautious but optimistic. The A1C improvement you got from tirz alone is impressive though - that's the real win. I'm one of those people who needs to take things slowly, so I'm easing into reta while keeping a close eye on energy levels. Your results sound solid.

GHK-Cu having a real effect on skin quality is well-documented even if it's not the main reason people use it. The comparison to stronger actives for specific conditions like rosacea is fair - the mechanisms are different enough that one doesn't replace the other.

The overlap thing is so important - way too many people stop one and jump straight to the other and then wonder why they feel off. Doing both for a bit while I sorted it out made a real difference. Slower transition but less drama overall.

I like keeping both in the mix because the appetite thing is real - reta alone leaves me hungry but tirz handles that part. Balancing them out has been solid so far, no major side effects and things seem to be working.

Had some schedule mix-ups here too. I pin my tirz on Friday and switched my other med to Monday just to keep things manageable. Cycling things out to see what actually needs adjusting - trust the process and all that.
