Tirz insomnia - anyone else?

More info, please.

Are you eating fewer calories than usual?

Are you hitting the gym?

When I'm seriously cutting calories, I try eating a good amount of protein during my last meal and it seems to help. Keeps my stomach feeling full.

I'm on Tirz with a big calorie deficit and a nearly zero-carb diet, and I can't sleep at all. I've been looking into sermorelin and ipamorelin, and I've also found a small amount of indica cannabis helps me get to sleep temporarily, but I wake up a lot.

I went through a period of insomnia. I think there were two reasons. The first was acid reflux, which got worse when I was lying down. I learned to avoid eating late and started splitting my dose to reduce the reflux. The second was that I lost so much stomach fat that I had to change how I sleep. I can't sleep on my stomach anymore because it hurts my back (I have a bad back). Sleeping on my side has helped a lot. I don't have insomnia anymore.

I think I'm eating around 1800 to 2300 calories daily. I don't work out, but my job involves a lot of physical labor.

Melatonin doesn't do anything for me, hydroxyzine makes me tired, and valerian root helps me relax, but by itself isn't strong enough.

I'm super tired from work today, so I'll just take the valerian and hydroxyzine.

I had a lot of trouble sleeping during my first two months on tirz. I think eating something an hour before bed helped. Protein shakes might have helped, too. I also tried dsip, ipam/cjc-no-dac, glow, extended release melatonin, and other stuff. None of that helped. I then started splitting my tirz dose and adding reta. That might have helped. I was desperate to fix my sleep and energy issues. I'm doing much better now in my 5th month. I take 5mg tirz every 4 days and 2mg reta every 4 days. I'm still trying to figure out if taking them on the same day is better or worse.

I agree with @Wild-Chick's suggestion further up the thread.

Try to eat bigger meals later in the day, if you can. If you're doing low carb, make sure you're eating plenty of fiber and protein. See if a full stomach helps you sleep better. It might.

If you're doing a lot of physical activity at work, you could be burning more calories than you think.

It's a basic human need--if you're hungry, that will take priority. Even if you don't realize it.

Yes, early-onset fatigue is common. It often happens because you're eating less or not drinking enough. Reduced food intake plus changes in blood sugar can make you feel tired. I track my protein and water intake to make sure I am eating enough. If it's severe or ongoing, talk to your doctor.

Been rotating abdominal spots but heard pinning only belly will reduce tirzepatide effects. Person said you need thighs and arms or plateau more. Real science or nonsense?

Haven't picked up on any Amo (now BFF) issues going around lately. What's weird is their stuff normally passes QC just fine, but enough people reported problems-including folks who know their stuff when it comes to GLP-1-that points to something being off with certain batches.

Anyone try going from tirz to sema once you hit your weight goal? My PCP brought it up. Got plenty of tirz in the freezer and Zepbound scripts from him. Might be getting Wegovy soon. Want to keep using the cheaper route. Has anyone done this swap before?

Was on sema one year, lost 35lbs. Switched to tirzepatide four months ago, down another 3-5. Lost slowly on both but zero side effects beyond mild nausea. IBS improved tremendously. Thinking of breaking and restarting to jumpstart again.

Grey market prices were brutal until I found community resources like this. Stacked with the compounded version and got steady waistline progress. Some distributors stock it but harder to find stateside.
