Tirz... Less effective? Anyone else?

Has anyone else noticed that their meds aren't as effective depending on where they get it from? I started with Tirz from one place and it worked great, even at a low dose. Now, I've got a different source that had good testing results. But I'm having to take a higher dose than before to get the same effect. I've double checked my calculations so I am pretty sure on that part. Here are a few things that I think might be the problem:

1. The batch was made a few months ago. I don't know how they store things, but it could be degraded?
2. Different types of reconstitution solution. I used one before, and now I am using another.
3. Building a tolerance. Most likely, but it seems to be happening fast.
4. Shot depth.

Anyone else?

I'm glad someone else has brought this up. I was on a very expensive compounded sema last year, and it worked at first. But then after a month or two, even when increasing the dose, it stopped working. My doctor said I was already on the highest dose. Then recently I tried a different source, and the first couple of weeks were great. But now it's just okay. I'm thinking about trying a different source again because I want results. I've been wondering if it's the reconstitution solution or maybe I let it sit too long after mixing it.

I'm wondering how much of this is tolerance and how much is the peptide breaking down. Hopefully, more people chime in with their experiences.

I've heard of some sources giving you less effective stuff. It's hard to tell what's going on sometimes. I've pinned like 11mg of tirz and could barely eat for three days. Then, the next shot from the same vial, I'm starving like 30 hours later and waking up hungry. I don't know if it's not eating enough or what. So I can relate to your experience, but I don't have any answers. Weirdly, when I am not active I get hungry and when I hit the gym I don't.

I wonder if, after a strong effect where you don't eat enough, your body resists the GLP-1 to prevent starvation. Try writing down what you eat with the doses to see if there's a pattern. I'm worried about receptors changing and becoming less responsive. I don't know much about it, but I want to avoid long-term problems!

This is good info. Because the same thing happens to me. I'm not at 12mg yet, but I've been thinking maybe using the same vial is messing it up. I don't think I give anything long enough to know if it's bad. I've noticed that when I'm busy, I'm not as hungry. But I like the moments where I'm doing nothing and not hungry, and I want that all the time. Also, the feeling of getting full faster. I don't feel like I have that anymore.

Super helpful. Good to know that it's more of a body thing and not a 'injecting myself with who-knows-what' thing.

I definitely get the hunger pangs waking me up in the middle of the night sometimes. It's super annoying.

I've absolutely pinned 12mg of tirz and could barely force myself to eat for 3 and 4 days. The next shot same vial I'm fucking starving 36hrs later with hunger pangs waking me up at night.
I feel you!

Liraglutide gives you 5-8% weight reduction, much lower effectiveness. Because of its short half-life, appetite suppression varies throughout the day. Still a useful option despite that.

Late to reply but my take: you had solid Zepbound results. Stick with it. It's a brand name for tirzepatide, very effective, sometimes cheaper depending on vendor and dosage.

After a week on tirz I just haven't felt motivated to do it anymore. It seems like more trouble than it's worth. Keeps me awake and makes me tired and foggy the next day. I'm wondering if it's the reward signal changing.

The restart efficacy gap is one of the more consistent anecdotal patterns. The appetite suppression component seems to rebuild tolerance faster than people expect, which is why it often feels blunted compared to the first run.
