Tirz mixing - help a girl out?

Hi everyone! About to order some Tirz online for the first time - thinking of getting 10 vials of 10mg doses. I'm hoping someone can help me out with mixing and dosage info? I'm hoping to get to a dose similar to 0.5mg of Tirz, if that makes sense.

Thanks in advance!

There are some great online reference calculators that you can use to figure out the correct dosage. Here are a couple that I have used in the past.

PeptideMath
InjectionCalc

I believe everyone should do their own research, but the search function on here has a lot of really helpful information.

The starting dose for Tirz is usually 2.5 mg. Perhaps that's what you're aiming for? I suggest looking at a peptide mixing calculator; it considers all the different things that impact the amount of bac water you'll need. If you are using a 1 cc syringe, most people usually try to inject around 30-40 units. That means you might want to mix with about 2 ml of bac water for a 40 unit injection. It's important to understand the calculations behind mixing.

Also, if this is your first time mixing (and filtering, since some people do, others don't, I personally do), I found these videos useful for learning how. https://peptidetest.com/pages/education

When I was doing it the first time, I didn't realize that there was fluid hold in the filter that you lose. I was wondering why my dose in the vial was short by a little bit?! It's the filter!

Thanks everyone for the help! I ended up getting some T30, and have some BAC water on the way. Any good resources to help with the BAC mixing? Like, do I just combine the BAC water into a vial of Tirz?

Hey, I'm super new to peptides. I'm trying to figure out how much BAC water to use for a 5mg vial of sema? And then how much to inject? I saw one person say 3mg of water, but someone else said 2mg of water. They both said to take 0.25mcg, but that doesn't sound right? Is there a good calculator out there?

Something I've learned is to let the bacteriostatic water drip down the sides of the bottle and not directly onto the powder. It helps protect the peptide.

After my break I found 5mg Tirz was enough to manage things. The hunger came back fast, and honestly I don't want to fight that every single day. Most of us end up needing something to maintain.

didn't happen for me. 44m. urge to drink was lowest at 2.5mg but after titrating to 5mg, control wasn't much better. now I'm drinking about the same as before mounjaro.

switched from 2.5 to 5 with zero issues and stayed there 20 weeks. moving from 5 to 7.5 was rough though, so i dialed back and then alternated doses before gradually going full-time at the higher level.

On tirzepatide since around July 2025, started above 15 mg pretty fast, up to about 33 mg weekly now. Also taking cagrill ranging 5-20 mg. Yeah, excessive, that's kind of my thing. Thinking about adding an extra 12.5 brand name to go with my compounded. Hovering around 225 for a couple months, not sure how to restart progress.

Getting the dose in units without knowing the mg per vial is the information gap that makes reconstitution harder than it needs to be. For the OP trying to understand mixing before starting, the key number is the mg concentration per mL after adding the BAC water - that determines how many units to pull per dose. Concentration equals total mg in the vial divided by the mL of water added.
