Tirz powder + BAC volume?

So, I'm curious if anyone has accurately measured the total volume after mixing 60mg of tirz with 3mL of bac water? I'm trying to avoid using a fresh needle just to measure. The peptide dose calculator seems off. Doesn't seem like adding 3mL to 60mg would still equal 3mL. Anyone know a way to measure this?

The vial contains 60mg of tirzepatide. That amount doesn't change, no matter how much BAC you add. Grab a peptide dosing calculator and figure out your per-shot units after you add the 3mL of bac water.

Almost negligible. 1mL of BAC is basically 1 gram, so 3mL is 3 grams, which is 3000mg. Adding 60mg to that is only like a 2% increase. Doubt an insulin syringe could measure that precisely.

Are you asking about the final volume of 3 ml BAC water mixed with 60 mg of tirz? I think it will be a bit more than 3 ml, but the difference doesn't matter that much. If you really wanted to get an accurate measure, you'd have to pull the solution into a 5 ml syringe. But if it’s sterile, you could just re-inject it into the same vial.

If the volume is something like 3.3 ml, then you are getting into the weeds! Considering the overfill would be even more math. I'd just stick with 60 mg tirz, 3 ml BAC water, so the concentration is about 20 mg/ml. Calculate your dose, inject. If you get some extra, that's a bonus.

It's effectively 3mL. The dissolved peptide won't change the BAC volume significantly. Assume the amount of BAC you add is the total volume.

The 60 mg of Tirz has very little to do with the volume of dry powder in the vial. Trying to calc volume using weight isnt accurate.

I did some digging on peptide volume, not for dosing, but to see how big a six-month supply of 15mg/week of tirz would be. Turns out it's roughly 85% the volume inside a ping pong ball.

60mg of tirz takes up roughly 4 units, or .04mL when mixed. Binders and other stuff in the vial add to the volume, along with pore space.

So 60mg of tirz in 3mL would be 3.04mL, plus whatever the binders take up.

I haven't noticed much volume difference with most things, except for NAD+ 500mg. When I mix that with 3ml of BAC, I usually get around 3.4ml total - can't get it all into a 3ml syringe.

Hey, I had a similar question on another forum about reconstituting. I was using a 5mg vial of Ipamorelin and needed to know how much bac water to add for 300mcg twice a day. Found out the easiest thing is just to add the same amount in mL as the mg of the peptide. So, like, 5mg of BPC, add 5mL of water. Makes it easy to calculate dosage.

Thanks for the tip. Makes it easier to do the math!

The not-knowing is rough. I thought 1mg/week was the move until I read how many people didn't feel it until 4mg, and others were fine at 1mg. There's no shortcut—you just gotta try it. Harder than finding the peptides is sourcing the filters and worrying if your bac water's legit or if the vials are sterile. It's a whole process.

I got obsessed and googled every single peptide mentioned here. It's become my weird hobby - way better than TV lol. I want to try stuff that helps skin and hair, not growth hormones. Build muscle after the weight is gone, that's my plan.

i toss my vials after about 90 days, gives me plenty of time to use them up. got a 40 lb drop with that first one and just a small amount of supplies, so the value is solid. gonna be cycling through a few more before i try anything new.

Talked to lab techs and direct injection onto powder doesn't hurt peptides. Shaking's fine too. The gym bros would lose their minds if they saw how lab techs actually reconstitute samples.
