Tirz powder storage Q's

Hey all, I've been trying to find a clear answer on this but not having much luck. If I order the freeze-dried tirz powder, what's the best way to store it, both before and after mixing it? Any tips on safely storing my supply when it arrives? Just wanna make sure I'm doing everything right. Any difference in how to store it for short vs. long term?

Tirz and similar peptides, eh? There are a few threads on this topic and some disagreement, but it seems most people keep it in the freezer for long-term storage and the fridge after mixing.

Some people get extra cold freezers, as low as -40 or -80. Standard freezers might fluctuate in temp due to the defrost cycle, which could affect how stable it is. Putting them in an insulated container could help.

I heard one lab owner (Jano) say it could last a few years in a garage and only lose a tiny bit of potency.

Just avoid big temperature changes. I put mine in an insulated container and into the freezer.

I freeze the unmixed stuff. A lot of people use those Hydrapeak 32oz bottles with custom 3D-printed inserts. You can find the inserts on Etsy. They're supposed to keep the vials at a steady temp, even during the freezer's defrost cycle.

Why do people put the unmixed vials in a Hydrapeak before freezing? Wouldn't the insulated case mean the vial gets *less* cold? Sorry, I'm new to this and trying to wrap my head around it.

It doesn't matter what the vial is in; as long as there's no heat source, the inside of the container will get as cold as the outside. But if the outside temperature goes up, the inside temperature will rise more slowly.

You don't *need* to. The HydraPeak or Thermos is just extra protection against temperature swings from modern frost-free freezers. No, it won't be less cold.

If I was planning to store it for years, I'd use something like a HydraPeak. Lyophilized peptides usually last over a year at room temperature. I just toss it in the freezer or fridge when I buy a kit. If it's a single vial, I might leave it at room temp if I'm using it soon. I don't hoard anything except GLPs. HGH stays in the fridge for me.

He said he found a kit in his garage from a decade earlier and it tested 100% good a while back. Can't remember what it was, but it shows how stable these things can be.

Yeah, it was PepTalk's Rory he talked to, about an hour long. Good watch. It's on YT (not sure if I can link it yet since I'm new).

The defrost thing in my deep freezer is real. My wireless thermometer sends me alerts when it gets too warm. Happens twice a month easily, and it gets up to 25-27 degrees F sometimes. Getting that Hydrapeak setup for sure!

Here's a related question for you all... how much bacteriostatic water do you usually add to a vial of, say, sermorelin? I've got a 5mg vial, and they don't include the water. Is there a general rule for how much to add? I'm planning on taking 1mg daily and not sure how to figure it out. Do you just use a fixed amount for convenience? I found this calculator online: http://peptidecalculator.com/calculator.php

I got a vial of something the other day and it came *already* mixed! Is that normal?

Yeah, some places do that, but I'd be a little concerned if it wasn't shipped cold. I'd probably reach out and ask them about it.

The biggest side effect I deal with from tirz is constipation - was on stool softeners daily for months but then spotted magnesium powder at Costco and figured why not try it. It's supposed to have a relaxing effect but I don't feel that, might be placebo, but it's helped.

Exactly what I wanted. Low-dose tirz at 4.4 weekly, down 20 with 30 more ahead. Grabbed Survo vials for backup if this stops helping. Thought about trying small amount to see tolerability. Feels silly stacking when already losing, but if it cuts tirz-laziness it's worth testing.

studies show almost everyone gains it back after stopping. but spacing doses or staying on a lower maintenance dose seems to work. get a better doc and plan for the long haul.

not just mounjaro stuff i think. i lost 120 from gastric bypass before jumping on this and had the same brain-body disconnect after that weight came off.

Lyophilized tirz in the freezer holds up well for extended storage - the stability data supports years at low temps. The main shift is after reconstitution: bac water buys you longer than plain sterile water, but the powder itself is stable well past the standard 12-month mark.
