Tirz + Reta or Cagri... or split dose?

I'm now on 1.5mg tirz+100mcg cagri weekly and enjoy it way more than anything that includes reta. Tried it twice and it's not for me.

Your point about equilibrium timing is crucial. Most folks doing shorter intervals aren't hitting the full weekly amount, so the math works differently than the chart shows. 3mg every third day is a better comparison for people to look at.

It messed with my blood sugar - and I usually don't have issues (I'm neither diabetic nor pre-diabetic, fasting glucose is around 80 without any peps). Reta caused my blood sugar to spike during the day, with around a 10 point increase on average (80 to almost a hundred); then it would drop below 70 at night, indicating pretty low blood sugar. I was also feeling awful, which isn't a surprise given what was happening with my glucose. Cagri is a different mechanism, it helps regulate glucagon, unlike reta which stimulates glucagon.

Coming up on a month at 1.5mg of reta by itself and I'm looking forward to going up in dosage next week. I'm still having food cravings, but it's definitely better than if I wasn't taking anything at all. Somehow I've still lost weight, but I need to control myself during those munchies!

I used to take Tesofensine, but I'm currently taking a break. It gave me lots of energy, but ruined my sleep. Just buy a month's worth and see how it goes. I've heard that the lower dose of 500mg is better than 1g. Reddit link about Tesofensine

I've heard that Tesofensine can be pretty rough.

Some people say it doesn't suppress appetite that much, and the sleep issues are not worth it.

I've had friends try Tesofensine and it gave them horrible tinnitus that hasn't gone away months later. It can effect sleep, but provides focus and energy. If you do try it, take it first thing in the morning.

Has anyone tried Ipamorelin? I've been taking a sermorelin combo and it improved my body composition, but I've been reading Ipamorelin is better and doesn't increase prolactin and cortisol as much.

I started on 40mg Pantoprazole two times daily earlier in the year for post-meal heartburn. Then came my initial Tirz dose Friday, and that Friday and Saturday were brutal with reflux symptoms. I plan to take Pantoprazole an hour or more before eating and recheck how things go after this Friday.

Tirzepatide has roughly a five-day half-life, which explains why many people get hungrier around day six. Instead of upping my dose, I'm asking my RS to shift to a five-day schedule.

At 7.5mg Tirz I tried half a mg Cagri and felt real appetite suppression, zero nausea. Bumped to a full mg the next day and it stuck. Might push to 0.75 next week if hunger creeps back.

I've been on tirzepatide for about a year now too! Just bumped up to 15mg this week, similar to you. I split my doses every 3.5 days and added cagri 0.3mg weekly back in November in between the split doses. I spent a good chunk of time at 10mg and 12.5mg before moving up, and honestly it's paid off. Down 80 pounds and it's been steady the whole way. I also had gastric bypass way back in 2000 so I know what it's like to be on this weight loss roller coaster my whole life. I'm just really grateful for these medications and for having access to them. Here's hoping we both keep it off for good.

Don't need to load up at some massive starting dose. Check the half-life and adjust from there if you need to. I'd probably ease back a bit on the tirzepatide so you can clearly spot any side effects if they pop up.

took the same route with cagri - 5mg over two days and just had mild GI stuff, nothing serious. just need to pace your increases and you'll be fine.
