Tirz/Sema mix - good idea?

Has anyone seen a 60mg tirzepatide / 3mg semaglutide blend for sale? Seems like a decent deal, but wanted to get some opinions from experienced users. What do you think?
 
Yeah, it is a pretty open ended question, @HealthCoffee.

What's your weightloss target? What are you currently taking? Do you trust the source selling it?

I haven't come across that particular mix before. It's probably out there, but I think I'd rather handle the ratios myself.

So I guess that's a "no" from me.
 
I'm with @CareHappy on this one. I prefer to control the dosages myself. Pre-mixed stuff is convenient, but you lose a lot of flexibility. Plus, you never know if it is bunk.
 
From a pharmacological perspective, combining tirzepatide and semaglutide could potentially lead to enhanced glucose control and weight loss due to their synergistic mechanisms of action - both stimulate GLP-1 receptors, but tirzepatide also acts on GIP receptors. However, individual responses can vary significantly. Monitoring for adverse effects, particularly hypoglycemia and gastrointestinal issues, is crucial. I would strongly advise against using this combination without a physician.
 
Thanks for the input, @Tirz-Mode. I appreciate the detailed explanation. I'm thinking I might pass on the pre-mix and just source them separately to have more control over the dosage.
 
Pretty strange that the branded sema worked so well but the compound version didn't pan out. I'm no expert, but some folks mix sema and tirz together when they're chasing that food noise control. After dropping 100 pounds you clearly know your way around this. Curious what others think.
 
there's a study showing 5mg of tirz delivers about the same results as 2mg sema: weight and HbA1c drops were way bigger on the 10 and 15mg tirz doses compared to 2mg sema, but the 5mg tier matched the sema results pretty close.
 
I hit a plateau between 8 and 12 where I thought the effect was wearing off, but bumping up to 12.5 brought it back. Now I'm feeling great again. Going higher from there might be overkill but it definitely still works when you adjust.
 
My doc said Wegovy since the cost is lower than Zepbound, ha. I really do like tirzepatide, and my doc gets it - I've been paying out of pocket between the compound and name-brand versions, and it's tough on the wallet. Would hate to lose something this effective. Don't mess with what's working!
 
I've seen some good results with Tirz in different threads, but honestly the experiences vary all over the place. Would be nice if everything was in one spot. My main concern is the PSA side, but I'd like to hear what others have gone through overall.
 
Been on Sema since late April and I've dropped 47 lbs. Usually I don't share pics because of self-doubt, but the scale started to plateau and my head started lying to me about progress. A friend took a current photo and seeing them side by side really shows the difference.
