Tirz Setup: Last-Minute Check

Hey everyone! About to start my Tirz journey and have a couple of q's before I dive in. Also, I put my shopping list below this, just in case I missed anything crucial.

Should I switch out the filter with each fresh vial? I'm planning on dividing a 30mg vial into 2 or 3 smaller vials and freezing the extras, that way each vial lasts for about a month or so.

Are 3cc syringes okay?
And how many syringes should I use per filter?
I know some people just push remaining air through the filter at the end, but the guide I read only used one. I'm a bit worried about contaminating the BAC water vial, even if it's just a tiny bit of air from the same syringe I mixed with. Maybe I'm thinking too hard about it, lol.

Is there a real advantage to using needles of different lengths when filtering, or is one length sufficient?
Like, 5/8" and 1 1/2" vs. just the longer one?
The guide I checked out used 4 of the shorter ones for various steps and 1 of the longer ones.

Vial Opener - bad idea to use it to get every last drop?
pH Test strips - I bought a pack, but I guess that's only useful if I'm working with KLOW or its ingredients?

Shopping Cart (Around $120 Total):
2x 30mL BAC water
100x 3mL Syringe
100x Needle, 25g 5/8"
100x Needle, 25g 1.5"
20x Sterile Syringe Filter - 0.22um 4mm
10x Sterile Vial, 5mL
1x pH Test Strips
1x Vial Opener

Buying Locally:
Insulin Syringes
Alcohol Swabs
70% Iso Alcohol
Spray Bottle
Maybe a metal tray
Sharps Container

Future Purchases:
Pens
Pen Needles
Sterile Cartridges
(Thinking of buying from a certain place, but unsure about the 4-pack thing)

Airtight Container, 32oz
Silicone Vial Holders
Ice Pack
Desiccants
Someone suggested using molecular sieves instead of silica gel for below-freezing temps. Is that necessary? They're supposedly reusable but not expensive.

"Vials" for holding the desiccants - Thinking about 3D printing them.

I don't remove the filter from the needle once it's in the vial/cartridge. I assume any needle that's been taken out is contaminated. So yep, single-use only. I prime the filter with a separate syringe before filtering.

For a starting dose of 2.5mg, I'd mix to 1mg per 10 units, or 2mg per 10 units if you're going up to 5mg. You could mix with 3ml and divide into a 1ml and 2ml vial for simplicity. If it's around 35mg, just go with 2mg/10U and do 12U for the first couple shots and 13U for the next. You don't want to be doing 75U for 7.5mg.

3ml syringes are fine, but I favor the 50U or 100U low dead space ones for accuracy. Probably doesn't matter too much. I wouldn't rely on the COA being precise. pH strips and a vial opener are probably unnecessary if you have decent hand strength.

I like metal trays to work on. But that's up to you. You could also just use paper towels sprayed with alcohol.

You can find 70% alcohol spray at most stores, and the small alcohol prep pads are perfect for the vial stoppers. Syringe availability depends on your location.

I wouldn't bother freezing one vial of Tirz. If it's filtered with good BAC water, and no extra punctures, it'll last 2 months. Compounders ship 3-month supplies refrigerated.

With BAC, right? And do you only use that syringe for priming?

1 U = 0.01 mL, correct? So you're referring to the 0.5mL, 1.0mL syringes, not necessarily insulin ones. They're out of stock at the store I'm looking at, though.

I'm aiming for the lowest effective dose for as long as I can, but I'll remember that for later when I increase the dose.

What's the biggest volume you'd inject subq? Do you limit it to 50U or less?

Could you explain that a bit more? The vendor's COA says around 31mg, and a 3rd party report said 33mg. Any thoughts on that?

I was planning on getting a pack of 100 alcohol wipes, but I might go for two 10-packs of both 29G and 30G needles instead.

Would you ever consider mixing a large batch, freezing it, and then filtering after it thaws?

About syringes - I use 3ml for mixing and 0.5/1ml-31G/8mm (5/16) for injecting. 25 seems kinda large to me. I know my wife would complain if I used a 25G. This is for Reta.

Haha, 25G needles provide superior placebo effects for borderline peptides. For IM injections of glutathione, I use 27G, which is pretty manageable.

I use a 13mm filter. I've seen that 4mm is for up to 1ml of fluid, and 13mm is for 1-10ml. Don't forget to account for the holdback volume. 0.07ml with a 4mm and 0.28ml with a 13mm. Adjust your BAC water accordingly or add a tiny bit extra.

If you get a tray to filter on, stainless steel is great.

I thought I was well-prepared for my first time, but I panicked when I got everything out. I couldn't remember anything I'd read, LOL. I ended up watching a YT video and following along.

I stopped mixing with 25g needles. The self-healing stopper didn't always reseal and let air in/out when drawing or injecting air. Now I use 30g, it's slower but safer.

To @Sema-Siren's question about batch reconning, freezing, and filtering later: I wouldn't recommend it. It's just adding an extra step where something could go wrong. Better to filter fresh.

Checking in - how are your knees? Just diagnosed with right knee arthritis last week and determined to help before surgery becomes necessary.
