Hey everyone, new to the forum. I started with brand name Mounjaro then switched to a compounding pharmacy. When the FDA stuff started, I went to sema with the same pharmacy. It wasn't quite the same but still helped. Now I'm reconstituting my own peptides. I just made another big order and am starting to build up a stash. Not ready for overseas ordering from that one country, but I'm getting there with the research. Domestic for me, for now.

I'm okay with paying current prices, especially compared to the pharmacy prices. I'm on a fairly low dose, hoping it stays that way. I spent a chunk of change upfront for 8 months' worth at my current dose. Should I buy more? Or just buy some each month as I can?

I'm worried those cease and desist letters will shut down the reliable domestic suppliers. What do you all think is gonna happen?
 
Nice! I started off buying a bunch of 10mg vials. Now I'm at 5mg after about 3 months at 2.5 tirz. I need to sell off some old stock to buy the higher mg vials. [shrug]
 
I hope I didn't jinx myself! I've been doing well on a conservative dose. Maybe I could be doing better, but I'm happy with taking it slow since I'm avoiding some GI problems and also seeing benefits like obsessive thoughts are way down! Plus I'm saving so much cash now, and I'm not online shopping at all. No urge to overspend, anxiety is way down.

This stuff is incredible.
 
No shame in sticking with domestic sources. We all have our own comfort levels with risk.

I think the more visible online sources will get shut down by lawyers, opening up space for local clinics that don't advertise so heavily. They'll cost more than the online guys but less than Big Pharma. That'll take a while, though.

If I were you, I'd wait and see what happens. I bought too much too soon and now I've got a freezer full of GLP-1s that are overpriced now. With 8 months' supply, maybe check again around the new year.

Just a guess, don't blame me if I'm wrong.
 
That's great news. No need to rush. It's great to have a reliable supplier. You aren't missing anything with the country overseas lol. Yes it is a miracle!
 
Prices for the overseas stuff are dropping fast. I also have an overpriced stockpile. I'm gonna let the market do its thing.
 
As it gets more popular, more sources will show up and prices and quality will get better, I think.

I'm not worried about overseas places cracking down. They do worse already, lol.
 
Yeah, because of a mistake, I ordered twice as much as I meant to and then a friend backed out. I've got 1300mg in the freezer now. 🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️
 
I have 600mg, plus some compound stuff hanging around. I'm gonna wait on big sales and use that money for something else.
 
I did something similar:

* Have a prescription for Mounjaro and get it filled every time so insurance does not remove the coverage!
* Compounding pharmacy during the scare about shortages (always got my prescription, though, so stockpile started)
* Got such great results that I was scared my doctor would take it away, so I ordered from that one country overseas. (Slow and steady wins the race)

If my orders arrive as pending I will have almost 1700mg Tirz in the fridge plus some Sema (never tried) plus some Cagri, and I'm the only one using it. At 5mg Tirz, 0.7 Cagri. At goal weight with good glucose readings. It is less than 3 months of Mounjaro. The peace of mind and not sharing the panic is priceless!
 
I thought last year the FDA would crack down on importing, but nothing really happened. Now I have a bunch of tirz I probably won't use.

I think it'll always be around, honestly. Maybe some crackdowns here and there. But look at bodybuilders and the stuff they buy. A lot of them are buying banned things, and it's still sold on the gray/black market. The demand for these weight loss things will be way bigger than for steroids.
 
My first buy was sema from one of the US suppliers. I paid 550 for ten 5mg vials.

About two weeks ago I paid $210 for forty 5mg vials from overseas.

It's worth it to learn how to order from that country. You have plenty to last until you're ready, and prices will keep going down. Black/gray markets will always be around.
 
1300mg!!! Man, I have 600mg in the freezer and 100mg or so in the fridge... I thought I was doing good, but 1300 is nuts. I also have some Reta... in case I stall. This forum is great, especially that spreadsheet. Learning and getting feedback on sources has made me feel secure about completing this journey and going into maintenance. That's a good feeling.
