Tirz, Survo, AND Cagri? Anyone tried this?

I'm on 15mg of tirzepatide but not really feeling it. I had been trying a cagrilintide combo but it only did a little, mostly just quieted down the constant thoughts about food.

So I've swapped the cagri combo for survodutide with the tirzepatide. But now I'm putting weight back on. The food noise is back like I expected!

Has anyone here tried stacking tirz and survodutide with a little cagrilintide?

Why did you ditch the cagri if it was actually doing something for you alongside the tirz? And how long have you been taking tirzepatide and survodutide together?

I just started stacking survodutide with my tirz to try and get past a plateau. For the first couple weeks nothing happened. I've slowly upped the dosage now for around a month and think it's starting to work. I'm able to eat the same amount (or maybe even a bit more) and still drop pounds. Plus I feel like I have more energy and can be more flexible with what I eat.

Lots of folks find success going back to just tirzepatide and cagrilintide alone before making things even more complicated. Plateaus happen, especially at higher doses when you've been using them a while. Cagri helps 'reset' things for many. What dose of survodutide are you on? How long has it been since you stopped cagri? That would help give context to your situation @Sassy_Good

Honestly, I wasn't losing anything. The food thoughts were gone, and I'd read so much about survodutide being like a cheaper version of retatrutide that I wanted to test it out.

I did the tirz plus cagri combo a few times since last year. I stalled. I couldn't get below 192, then I added it and went down to 185. I've been stuck since then.

I'm on 1.2mg of Survo. I still had food noise, so I added a low dose .6mg cagri. It really hit me. A little bit of nausea, like I overate. I won't go higher. It helped with cravings. I'll try another small dose if they come back.

Smart. Keeping it low and slow is the way! You're taking 1.2 mg survodutide but still had food noise. So you added 0.6 mg cagri and it immediately got rid of the cravings with only mild 'overate' feeling. Classic low-dose cagri response. Solid satiety boost without the bad side effects most get with higher doses. Sticking to 0.6 mg and redosing if needed is perfect. No need to increase if it's already working. Many stack low cagri like this for breakthrough hunger on GLP-1s. Good luck and let us know!

Hi! I'm new to all of this, but I saw someone mention metformin. My doctor is thinking of putting me on Ozempic, but I've been taking metformin for about half a year already. Should I ask if I should keep taking it? Does it help?

@Slightly_Smaller It's crucial to discuss continuing metformin with your doctor when starting Ozempic. They affect your body differently. Initially, you'll likely continue both since the Ozempic starting dose is low. As the Ozempic dose increases, the need for metformin might decrease or be eliminated. Your doctor can best guide this based on your individual needs and blood glucose levels.

I do both! I've been on metformin and Ozempic for maybe 3 or 4 years. I take a 1mg Ozempic shot once a week and metformin twice a day. My doctor changed the metformin from long-lasting to regular and adjusted the timing too. It's been good for me!

I take both metformin and tirzepatide, for very specific reasons. My A1C is consistently between 6.2 and 6.7. I'm also training as a triathlete and on 10mg of Mounjaro, so my liver is working overtime. Metformin helps reduce glucagon output. I have zero side effects from either the tirzepatide or metformin (2000mg XR). I take the 2000 mg at once. Definitely consult your doctor before combining medications!

Four weeks of survo on the tirz before moving to cagri is enough to judge if the noise reduction is actually working.
