Tirz vials - how much waste?

Hey all! I'm super new to this, trying to source Tirzepatide in Europe. Seems like getting it from within the EU is safest to avoid customs issues. One place I'm looking at only has vials that are 10x30mg of Tirz. If I reconstitute with bacteriostatic water, shouldn't it stay refrigerated for a month max? Since the starting dose is 4x2.5mg for the first 4 weeks, am I throwing away the other 20mg once that month is up? Or am I missing something? Thanks for the help!

Yep, you're right, a 30mg vial has enough for 12 doses at 2.5mg each. A lot of people (including me!) have used vials/pens way longer than 30 days, but it depends on how much risk you're willing to take, plus good hygiene, and keeping it cold. If you go up in dosage, you'd technically use 4 x 2.5mg and 1 x 5mg in that month, so you'd use 15mg total.

I dose every 5 days. That's 15mg over 30 days at 2.5mg. If you're at 5mg on the same schedule, it's 30mg in 30 days. Also, I've never had Tirz go bad when refrigerated for up to two months. Just my experience!

If you use good BAC water and keep things really clean, a vial should last way longer than 30 days. The name-brand stuff is good for like, 2 years in the fridge. I'm sure they use all kinds of preservatives, but if theirs lasts that long, ours should be good for more than a month. Compounding pharmacies send out several months' worth at a time.

I started with a compounding pharmacy and I'm still annoyed that I binned some vials that were perfectly good because I'd used 4 doses of 2.5 and 5, and the pharmacy didn't reply when I asked if I should keep using it! Could have saved a lot of money... lesson learned.

Why not freeze the T30s and buy smaller vials until you reach a higher dose that you can use the T30 in one month? Just a thought. We are all already saving money buying grey market. I know you want to stay in the EU, but maybe consider CN to get what you need.

IIRC, freezing reconstituted Tirzepatide once is generally considered okay. You could filter it into sterile vials, freeze part of it, and use the rest.

I'm new to this, so I'm trying to be as careful as possible. I'm not sure about the legal situation in Germany, so I'm trying to minimize risk. I wish there were more reports about the customs situation here. Too bad the German place closed down a month ago, that would have been perfect.

I've used a vial of Tirzepatide over 3 months. I kept it in the fridge, used good sterile technique, etc. The last shot was as effective as the first, and I didn't get an infection, so it depends on your comfort level.

I used my first compounded vial (wiping it before and after and keeping it in a sealed container in the fridge) for 3-4 months because I was microdosing! Then I used the second one that came with it!

It was a joke. It's technically possible to get a serious infection from a shot with a highly contaminated source in someone with a weak immune system, but it's not something to worry about.

I'm going to test a vial of Sema to see if it's really a problem to store it for over 30 days, since that's what everyone says to do. I'll reconstitute to 9 mL and split it into 3 cartridges (3 mL each). I'll use one twice a week for 6 weeks, store another for 90 days, and another for 120 days - all in a container in the fridge that keeps it stable. At 6 weeks, I'll test the first one to see if it's still as strong as the first vial. Then I'll test the other two at 90 and 120 days. I don't think potency would drop that much if they're kept out of light and at a stable temp. I'll test the used vial for toxins afterward. It's just one test, but it's better than nothing.

People keep asking me why I'm taking such a low dose of Sema and Reta, so I got tired of explaining it. 🤣 My advice is to let the appetite stuff help you make new habits. Eat healthy food and become a new you!
