Tirzepatide + B12 = 💣?

Hong Kong Yanpep International
That preprint is worth reading in full - the impurity finding is specific to mass-compounded tirzepatide and B12 combination products, not to plain compounded tirz or standalone B12 supplementation, so the first question is which formulation you're actually using. If you're buying a pre-mixed tirz and B12 vial from a telehealth-linked compounder, this is the scenario the study addresses. If you're reconstituting plain tirz and adding B12 separately, the picture is different. Worth knowing before assuming one way or the other.

the chemist-not-knowing-what-they-have is a standard feature of blinded research design rather than a conspiracy - the analytical work and the compound identity are deliberately compartmentalized so that the person performing the analysis cannot bias the result. trial blinding works at multiple levels simultaneously, which is why the result of a well-designed trial is more trustworthy than the intuition of someone who knows what they injected

Outside the compounded stuff there's no difference apart from small dose swings from under or overfill. Compounded with b12 might be weaker, since a recent paper found b12 and tirzepatide bind into complexes when mixed, which probably changes the effect somewhat, almost surely lowering potency at a given dose.
