Tirzepatide Travel Kit: Am I forgetting anything??

Hi everyone, I'm pretty new to this whole peptide thing, and I've already learned so much from this forum - thanks! I'm going to be travelling for a long while and need to be super minimal with what I'm packing. Check out what I think I need for mixing and using 10 vials, dosing once a week for about half a year. I'm in the UK now, but headed to the US soon, so can buy stuff in either place:

* 10x Tirzepatide 30mg, 3ml vials
* 10x Bacteriostatic water, 3ml (help! not sure what to get here)
* 10x Syringes, 2ml
* 20x Needles, 25G (thinking these are best for drawing up)
* 10x Syringe filters, 0.22um 4mm
* 1x PepPen
* 10x Pen cartridges, 3ml
* 35x Pen needles, 31G/32G (also for venting)
* 10x Gloves
* 50x Alcohol wipes (for everything!)
* 1x Insulated travel bag with ice pack (mostly for convenience getting through security)
* 10x Sterilizing wipes for my work area

Does this cover it? Feels like I'm missing something. Thanks again!
 
Got it. So maybe 23G or 25G needles for mixing and then 30G for moving the filtered stuff to the cartridge? Or just use the 30G for both? Like you said, it might be harder to filter though.
 
Thanks! I'm going to order everything soon cause I don't have a ton of time. Just giving it a bit in case anyone else has thoughts. This section doesn't seem too busy. Maybe I should have posted elsewhere...

This forum is pretty new and small, so there aren't tons of us, especially on a weekday.
 
Do any of these supplies need to be refrigerated?

I use an insulin cooler when I travel with tirz.

Also, are you worried about customs or legal issues at all?

I'd be most worried about the vials and needles. Some places don't allow needles without a script. Pens are probably fine if you only have one or two.
 
I think the peptide in powder form can be at room temp for about 3 months, in the fridge for around a year, or frozen for a few years. I'll have access to refrigerators mostly, so I'll use them when I can (but not the freezer, since refreezing degrades it).

Once mixed, Tirz can be kept at fridge temps for around a month and a half, or at room temp for a total of three weeks during that time. So I should be fine with a mix of refrigeration and some days at room temp.

Getting needles is hard in some US states, which is why I'm bringing them from the UK. I'm not super worried about airport security in the US when I'm leaving, since I'll have the PepPen and a real Mounjaro pen plus the insulin case. They'll probably just assume it's for diabetes. I'm flying to Central America, and I doubt they're checking for peptides.
 
Even mixed, it's good at room temperature and even warmer than that for longer than you'd expect.

Just enjoy your trip. Your peptides will be fine, and you're being really careful anyway!
 
go search for tirzepatidehelp on reddit to get their telegram channel, i dont have a link rn. they have beginner guides you should read. also there was a post here about where you were told to go grey, check that out too.
 
You're missing the prescription from your doctor... they know you can't get that much prescribed.

And maybe some snacks to eat while you're being detained.

Bringing medication into the US requires a valid prescription in English. You can bring pills in unlimited quantities, but only bring what you need for your stay.

You need to declare any controlled substances and unused syringes. They might X-ray your meds. US Customs represents FDA, CBP, and TSA.

The FDA doesn't allow personal importation of unapproved versions of approved drugs from other countries.

With the shortage in the US and that much Tirz, they might think you're planning to sell it. And suppliers have stopped shipping because of customs. Do you feel lucky?

I wouldn't bring ice packs. And they'll ask what your business is in the US. Just saying, it doesn't look good.
 
I've been playing around with some tracking tools to better understand how GLP-1s work in your system. There's a new app that some people are finding helpful. It helps visualize the drug cycle after each shot. It's based on the idea that semaglutide, like any med, has an activation, a peak, and a fade because it has a half-life of around a week. I think it can help people understand the drug better.

Thanks for the tip! I'm not sure if I'll use a tracking app (I tend to get a bit obsessive about data), but I can see how it would be useful for a lot of people.
