Too many supplements...halp!

My hair is still falling out like crazy. My feet are still numb. I'm not getting any more sleep. My digestion is a wreck. And only a few of these are actual prescriptions: a med for blood pressure, a pill for cholesterol, and something to help me sleep. I cut out like four things already. The rest I added 'cause of Reddit. lol

I'm stopping everything right now to see if anything changes. At least my blood sugar is under control, and I'm down nearly 60 pounds with another 70 to go!

Not medical advice, but watch out for too much B6. Lots of vitamins have way more than you need, and it's not always on the label. Too much B6 can hurt your nerves. There's a lawsuit about it happening in Australia. Maybe ask your doctor about a blood test?

My neuropathy gets worse whenever I take vitamins with lots of B vitamins...pretty much every multivitamin and 'hair' vitamin out there.

Have you had your blood checked for iron, B12, and vitamin D? Low levels can all cause hair loss. Especially iron.

Try fiber in your coffee and a probiotic/prebiotic combo. That'll help your bowels. I take a women's multivitamin, and peppermint pills for bloating (Walgreens version of IB Guard).

I also have thyroid issues, so I take iron, B12, vitamin C, D, and K2. Plus my multi. These help with feeling cold and thinning hair.

I sit at my desk at home for work 8 hours a day. I use a vibrating plate under my desk to help with leg circulation. I walk my dogs when I am not working. I get in less than 2000 steps during work hours. So the vibrating plate helps with swelling and leg pain from diabetes, I think.

I can't take supplements, so be careful and talk to a doctor! Some things can mess you up. I can't take vitamin D, and I have to watch out for stuff WITH vit D 'cause it messes with my potassium. Be careful!

My sleep was awful for the first few months, but now it's the best it's ever been since starting this medication 😅 I hope things get better for you!

I understand. I'm spending over $100 every month and still have terrible sleep, digestion, and IBS!

I'm hoping that stopping all the random pills helps me sleep better. [@Old_Great] I hope my sleep adjusts like yours did!

I wish I had known that sooner. I just started taking everything without doing my research.
