Too much at once?

Hey everyone!

I've been messing around with my stack lately. Reta and Tirz for weight reduction purposes and it's been pretty good (I think the combo works well, no hate please).

Just ordered and about to add MT2, NAD, GHK-Cu, and cagri (I get random appetite swings, but don't want to go up on my GLP dose). Thoughts? Am I overdoing it? Getting sucked into the whole looksmax thing...

MT2 has some awful side effects for a lot of folks. You're already on Reta and Tirz and thinking of adding even more appetite control from Cagri and MT2? Do you even want to eat? Seems like overkill. And it's never smart to introduce a bunch of new substances at the same time. If you react badly, you won't know what caused it.

I'm kinda obsessed with shedding pounds. I'm still overweight so it's always on my mind - my mental image doesn't match my body, it's weird. My first post wasn't clear - I wouldn't try everything at once, that's just asking for problems. Will test tiny amounts of each one first.

It sounds like you're enjoying the process of injecting peptides more than working towards your goal... which is a common thing, but perhaps not helpful.

If your aim is to drop another ~50 lbs, and you're fixated on weight loss, I'd concentrate on the stuff that demonstrably gets you there.

What made you decide to stack Tirz and Reta? 10mg of Tirz is a legit dose, but 5mg of Reta often is not.

I'm also stacking, moving from Tirz to Reta. My current exposure is 2.25mg TIrz falling, 7.5mg Reta rising. I'm switching to Reta to add the GCGR signaling for a presumed base metabolic boost over the GLP/GIP of Tirz, to add another advantage. 6-8mg/week seems to be where Reta starts working.

Thanks for the insight - that's really helpful.

Can you explain what you mean by "therapeutic range" for reta? I think I get it. Are you saying that increasing my dose and playing with the timing might be better than adding cagri? And is your Reta at 7.5mg per week in total?

Therapeutic range: the dose range at which a treatment gives a clinical benefit with acceptable side effects, balancing what it does against how it affects you.

Phase 2 data shows that 4mg/week is a starting therapeutic range; 8mg showed about 33% better loss compared to 4, and 12mg showed only 6% better loss versus 8mg. So, a therapeutic range of 4mg+/week, with diminishing returns over ~8mg/week. I would call 6mg+ therapeutic, knowing that higher doses can give better results but are limited by side effects.

My goals are sustainable fat loss, keeping muscle, and a reasonable timeline. I have cagri, tirz, and reta on hand for weight loss. I'm focusing on reta because it seems to be the most efficient way to get where I want to be. If side effects become a problem (none yet), I’ll rethink things. My plan is to get my average exposure to ~7.5-10mg/week, which is the average steady state for ~6-8mg/week. This means tolerating peaks of 9-14.5mg.

I'm phasing out Tirz as Reta controls food intake. I'm not planning to take cagri unless I have to. Keeping lean mass needs calories and effort. My goal is to control appetite and food noise, not to kill my desire to eat. That way I can make informed decisions about food, which promotes sustainability.

I've been experimenting with peptides for a while now, and I mostly agree with @Bee-IMO. It’s easy to get caught up in the 'hobby' aspect of peptide use, but focusing on clear goals is definitely key. I'd suggest revisiting your overall strategy before adding more elements. What are your key objectives (e.g., total weight loss, body composition, energy levels)?

Before adding more compounds, I want to caution against the use of multiple appetite suppressants concurrently. As @TheRealMcSteamy wisely pointed out, the potential for additive side effects is significant. Furthermore, drastic reduction in caloric intake can lead to nutrient deficiencies and metabolic down-regulation, hindering long-term weight management success. Consider consulting with a registered dietitian or healthcare provider to ensure a safe and balanced approach.

8 pounds in 5 weeks is seriously impressive, congrats on that. I'd say weigh yourself once a week so you don't obsess over every little fluctuation and drive yourself nuts with it.

Right around Christmas at 5mg I barely thought about food at all. Went to the max 12mg but that appetite control effect isn't as strong anymore.

Measurements saved me. Waist, bust, hip - track those numbers instead of the scale alone. Clothes-wise, go flexible sizing and don't buy a whole new wardrobe every few months.
