Two Years Later: Officially Transformed!

Hey everyone,

I honestly never imagined I'd be writing this. On June 1st, 2023, I took my first dose and felt like I was finally ready to make a real change. I had just turned 29 and was so unhappy – my confidence was shot, I felt ancient, I was drinking way too much, and I felt totally lost. I started at 258 lbs and my initial goal was just to get under 200, something I hadn't seen in almost a decade! The first few months were a struggle with side effects, and my doc and I worked hard to manage them, but the weight kept coming off, so I stuck with it. Then, about thirteen months in, boom! Under 200! I then aimed for 160, hit that, and thought 145 was impossible. But guess what? Exactly two years later, I'm a happy 31 year old, 5'5", and I weigh 132 lbs! I'm only about 3 lbs away from my ultimate goal! It's hard to describe how emotional this is, because I truly thought I was stuck. Now I have confidence, a job I love, I'm back in the dating game, I've started jogging, and I wake up feeling great (most days, haha). Seriously, if I can do this, anyone can. It wasn't a walk in the park, but semaglutide has completely turned my life around. I'll try to answer any questions, but remember, I'm not a doctor, so I can't give medical advice.

Keep it up, everyone, and celebrate every step you take!

Important reminder, folks:

We do not allow discussion of unapproved semaglutide forms or any buying/selling of meds, including DMs. Ignore anyone trying to sell you anything that way.

New to this? Check out the ! Just trying to help the discussion, not stop it.

I had a similar experience! I also started around 260, managed to get to 205 on my own, then stalled. Semaglutide got me to 150 and I was shocked at how easy it was. Then I tried tirzepatide and now I'm at 130 every day! It's wild! (I'm 60)

Feeling good is the best part. Think about it – could you imagine strapping an extra 120 lbs to your body and going about your day? No way! But you were doing it, and now you're reaping the rewards of all your hard work! Bc you did this all on your own :)

Hey H-Town_Hottie, did you feel anything right away when you took your first dose? I'm starting this week and kinda nervous...

It really depends, some ppl feel things right away, some don't. I did not feel anything positive right away. Only nausea, gas, and constipation. Just keep your head up and keep in touch with your doctor and it will all work out!
