Today marks two years since my first dose! I seriously couldn't have gotten this far without all the encouragement, support, and info I've found on these forums. Huge thanks to everyone! I started this journey focusing on the mental side of weight management *before* even thinking about meds. Then intermittent fasting, calorie counting, super low-carb diets... and finally, Tirzepatide! And a shout-out to Dr. Eric Westman; his insights on insulin resistance were a real game-changer. I'm a totally different person now, living a totally different life! Thanks, all!

ARE YOU SERIOUS!!! Just wow! Major congrats. 🤭👏🏾🙌🏾🩵💙💛 Fantastic job! I'm so thrilled for you and your family. Your life must be sooooo much better now! So, how does it feel????🥳🥳

Congrats OP, great results from all your hard work.

Pleased also to read you worked on the mental health aspects as well, I didn't know that was an issue for me, but I'm much more aware of it now.

Best

Thanks, everyone, for the kind words! To answer walking-daily, it feels *amazing*! I have so much more energy, and my confidence is through the roof. I can actually enjoy life without constantly worrying about my weight. It's truly liberating.

It's interesting how these meds can affect more than just weight. I've noticed some patients reporting reduced cravings for alcohol and even a decrease in impulsive shopping. It's like it's rewiring the brain's reward system.

I've definitely noticed a decrease in some of my bad habits. I have stopped biting my nails completely and have almost no anxiety now. I'll keep using this medication if it keeps my mind in this state! I've been taking it for about half a year.

What's the downside to all this? I keep hearing people complain about it, but I don't get it.

Some people just don't like that there's a medication that can help people level the playing field, so to speak. They want to feel superior because they were born lucky. Also, side effects can be a real problem. Some people have trouble tolerating the medication.
