Two Years on Mounjaro - Woah!

Hong Kong Yanpep International
Same boat, immediate family has RA. After eighteen months on Mounjaro maybe 20-30 percent drop in swelling, originally diagnosed with it five years ago. They're keen on peptides and I got them on the wolverine protocol and perhaps some KPV starting soon.

Lost weight though no food noise? Seven months Mounjaro, five mg four months then 10mg. Never strong appetite suppression. Helped late snacking, zero side effects. Thirty kilos lost, thirty percent to eighteen percent body fat. Regained seven kilos two months. Considering three mg beginning week, add mg if needed.

Started wegovy 3/26, stayed on each dose 3–4 months, lost 30 lbs. Just switched to zepbound 2.5 three weeks ago and it doesn't feel like much yet but that's the lowest dose. Long way to go. F64, SW 260, CW 230.

Semaglutide was brutal for me—couldn't get out of bed for three days. Switched to Tirzepatide and the side effects almost disappeared. Switch if you can.

switched to zepbound after hitting a plateau on the max dose of ozempic for 3 months and even put some pounds back on. needed something stronger.

being put on ozempic for type 2, holding at 218 after dropping 100 on my own but stuck on the last 50 for two years. at 5'11' trying to get info on the first few weeks. doc says protein is key for muscles and bones but i need more guidance.

13 more to go until my goal weight! The body changes have been huge but the head shift is even wilder. Way lighter mentally. 57 total down, with 50 of those since beginning Mounjaro back in October 2025.

the alcohol wipe before and after without a band-aid is the most practical site prep for subQ injections - the needle gauge is small enough that the site seals quickly, and the second wipe removes any surface residue. band-aids as routine injection site dressing are used in clinical settings for procedural documentation rather than because the wound needs covering

the two-week pause for colonoscopy prep and procedure going fine without restarting at the bottom is consistent with how the half-life works in practice - 5 days is the typical half-life, so two weeks off means the concentration has dropped substantially but re-engagement at the regular dose tends to work for most people without the early-dose side effect pattern repeating. the main exception is when the pause extends beyond 4-6 weeks
